A few friends and I had a lovely brunch here. The truffled eggs and sourdough toast were delicious and the coffee was perfect. The deli inside has a lovely selection of British goods and is definitely worth a browse. I’m looking forward to the wine bar opening!

Since it’s opened this has quickly become my favourite brunch spot in Bristol. A fantastic, yet simple, brunch menu (a particular highlight being the Nordic sourdough) paired with some delicious local Bristol coffee roasters.
Not only this, Starlings opens in the evenings and offers a fantastic IPA and lager brewed locally, as well as a comprehensive selection of cocktails.
If you’re a wine lover, the list is thoughtfully selected, offering something for everyone, newbie to sommelier.
If you’re after quality food and drink, in a relaxing, ambient environment, Starlings is the place to go.

Really lovely spot to stop for coffee and a bit of brunch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They also sell yummy snacks to take away with you and they’ve created a great atmosphere there. Will be coming back very soon! Great coffee too.

What a charming, independent fantastically high standard cafe/bistro in an up market part of Bristol.
The quality of produce is only matched by the quality of welcome, from the proprietor and owner, and a warm winter welcome await.
We booked a table. Which was early so unnecessary but it soon filled up. Booking recommended.
Some fishy thing for her - some more traditional pork products for me (see pic), loving the crispy smokey bacon.
Fresh coffee, plenty of choice with types, plenty of choices of other hot and colder drinks including alcohol.
We capped off our experience with a takeaway orange choccy rocky road.
Fantastic, again.
If you have time and inclination, swing by and support this local establishment trying to conduct their business in the right way, and help support independent business that offers you great personal service ,and quality sourced food..

Came here with my daughter. We were walking by and it looked so inviting. Inside is absolutely lovely although we chose to sit outside on a blue sky October morning. Delicious coffee. I wanted the chorizo hash but the guy said it was huge so I opted for the smoked salmon on his recommendation. Also pretty big. What can I tell you. The best smoked salmon and poached egg ever. Flavours like I’ve never had with this fairly standard dish. Cucumber that must be slightly pickled. Chives and the bread was just the most delicious ever. Would definitely come back.

We stopped for a coffee while walking around Clifton and enjoyed having a bite to eat too, delicious bacon sarnie to complement the excellent coffee. We hope to return in the evening sometime to sample a glass of wine and a nibble, a cafe and wine bar, the perfect combination. Highly recommend!

Starlings hosted the manager's breakfast for our company, Quarter, this morning. The service was super friendly and food delicious and prompt (despite there being a few of us!).
The fantastic array of cakes, condiments, chocolates, oils, wines etc also did not escape my attention!
The decor inside is really lovely - relaxing and fresh. All in all, it's great to have this venue open again - it's a great spot and a lovely addition to the road!

A very warm welcome on arrival - fab coffee- amazing food and impeccable service - a super place
The bacon roll was lovely with crispy bacon - we also order eggs Benedict and the smoked salmon - every dish was perfect
The fresh juices was a delight and all rounded off with fab coffee👏👏

The place we usually go to for coffee and cake at the top of Park Street wasn't great last time we went so we thought we'd try here. So glad we did. Very human and dog friendly (unlike the other place) with the highest quality dog treats that got a big paws up from our fussy hound. We only had coffee and cake but we'd definitely come back to try the food.

Lovely atmosphere, went there for brunch, the menu is varied, and has some nice twists on it. The produce is clearly well sourced and very good quality. The only reason it lost a point is one dish arrived on a cold plate which sucked the heat out of the food, and we didn’t enjoy the pickled cucumber on the salmon sourdough, however the eggs Benedict was flawless, including the pickled shallots, the homemade lemonade was both sweet and sour, and the coffee was excellent. If I could have given it 4.5 I would. Can’t wait to come here again which I am sure will be a 5

Fabulous brunch and coffees, we had really creamy lattes which were nice and hot. One of us had the avo and pea on sourdough with marzano tomatoes, very luxurious, the other had the shakshuka with poached eggs. Such a friendly place, smiling friendly staff, we also got chatting to another guest and within no time at all, we chatted like we had known each other for years, can't recommend Starlings highly enough, thank you for a wonderful experience which set us up nicely for the day.

I don't usually leave reviews but Starlings is a definite exception! After being recommended by a friend, I went this morning and had the ham and truffle feta roll which was absolutely delicious. The cafe itself is beautiful with the option to sit outside on a sunny day. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Couldn't recommend it more- I can't wait to come back in the evening to try out the wine bar!

Came here with friends for bottomless brunch. Service was really attentive and our glass was never empty! Brunch was amazing. We all had the burrata, and it was lovely with lots of flavour in the dressing. Drinks include Bloody Mary's, which were made well. We are definitely going back, and I have recommended to other friends. Lovely decking area outside for sunny days.

My first time at Starlings was truly memorable and I’m already looking forward to returning. I opted for the Starlings Sando with extra bacon, and I must say, the presentation and flavours were impeccable - it's safe to say it was one of the best meals I've had in a while, but don't tell my wife! I also enjoyed a delicious coffee, a beer, and some Tiffin, all of which were equally excellent. I can't forget to mention the exceptional staff who made our visit truly special. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Came here for a late breakfast and was very impressed. The cage interior is light and beautifully decorated with lots of greenery. There is an outside covered patio too. The brunch menu is varied and interesting. We both had breakfasr rolls. The bread, sausage and bacon were very good quality and the black pudding ( which was Spanish morcilla) was excellent. The coffee was lovely too. The service was excellent. Highly recommended and would definitely visit again.
