As a person from Hong Kong, I will say the food quality is really good (the ingredients) esp. for the soup before main dishes and the dessert afterwards - really a taste of home! But a bit obvious that the owners (the couples) don't really like to talk to you / tend to ignore you / a bit impatient if... More

My second visit to Friends, and it proved as good as the first. The food is fabulous! I grew with Hong Kong and Cantonese food, and this is as good a it gets in the UK. Go there, relax, enjoy a great chat with the chef and the waitress, meet some great people, and most of all, enjoy the brilliant... More

If you're looking for sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken etc this won't be to your taste. If you are looking for a different experience this is definitely worth trying - you won't find any of the normal dishes that you associate with a Chinese restaurant. I had a chat with the waitress who was really pleasant and looked after... More

The waitress is the by far the worst waitress ever. The food is really good and authentic but unfortunately the bad service will cost them future customers. If their service was competent I would have given them a 4 out of five. That is how bad the service is....

A large open plan restaurant, clean and smells of good food. A few Chinese people having a get together eating lots. I have the duck and boiled rice, but first served with a consome soup, traditional Chinese soup that tastes great, it's been brewed awhile. The duck was cooked to perfection, rice was fluffy and plain with soya sauce. The... More

The woman was in a very bad attitude in the service. Absolutely very poor and terrible service ever. Black face showing unhappy look to us where we are the customer as if we shouldn't be served nicely as customer! The worst service ever I had in UK. Worst service ever!

Its true that the price is not cheap in this restaurant compare to the others. But im sure its worth, the food is a lot better than other Chinese restaurants in this city.

Walked in to this restaurant and the lady looked us up and down and ok you come in. I asked why the price was so high £14 for a plate of noodles. She muttered something under her breath and said " we don't sell lemon chicken in here" What a rude woman. Don't mind paying for quality but this place... More

A unique experience, worth visiting. Staff were friendly and service was attentive and food arrived quickly. The menu is varied, offering plenty of choice. Having said that, we didn't receive any of the dishes we ordered, but received a mixture of things that the waitress thought we should have. It was quite entertaining! As confusing as the situation was and... More
