I took my dad here when he came to visit me in Bristol, we were expecting pub grub, and I was pretty snazzy and tasty!

Went for Sunday lunch.....and wish we had gone elsewhere. There were four of us and we all left our food, it was the worst Sunday lunch we have ever had. When questioned whether we had finished, I said "we had" when asked did we enjoy bit and said"no" there was absolutely no comment???? Poor customer service. Definitely would not recommend!#!!!!

Although the pub is a bit dingy, it has plenty of character and the staff are great. The food is delicious and very well presented. We were there for lunch after a hospital appointment and it looked as though it is a regular place for the local people. Everybody was quite relaxed. The prices are reasonable but I don't think... I was not expect the food to be as good as it was. I had a burger and my wife had the lamb stew. The burger had good flavours that complimented each other. The lamb stew was really tasty and tender, came with some nice bread to.

We have been here a number of times, the ale selection is great, the atmosphere is warm and friendly - a locals pub. Open fires, darts and games are available; and a good pub food menu adds to the rating! We have eaten during the week and for their sunday roasts and have not had a bad meal yet. There... More

Family and dog friendly, really nice decor and friendly staff. Their Sunday roasts are so good! Quick service too. Only downside is that they have very dark lighting - a few more lights or even some candles would have been good, as we were there in the afternoon but it was quite dark where we were sat

Party of 5 adults and 2 kids for a Saturday lunch, all chose different food and everyone v happy. Impressed with the 3 for £10 tapas style menu, with large portions.

We stopped of here in January, for a few beers. The pub has lots of character, beer choice and quality was very good.

My friends and I decided, at the last minute, to try for Sunday lunch, a couple of weeks before Christmas. More in hope than expectation, we rocked up at the Inn on the Green and, as luck would have it, a table had just been vacated. Result! We all went for the roast lamb, which was delicious. The roast potatoes... More
