Love this place, great chef, great food, nice atmosphere and lovely outdoor people watching areas as well. Only downside is it is soooo popular that hard for us locals to get a table sometimes. We love Clifton!

This place has been around for a while in Bristol and has gained a solid reputation for good quality food and a charming cafe in general. It is especially lovely to sit outside on a sunny day and watch the people go by and it is situated in a quiet area of Clifton Village off the Main Street.

Visited on 23rd December. Cafe was quite busy but a few spare tables free. Ordered mini monty breakfast and beef hash. Drinks and food arrived quickly and were delicious. Would definitely visit again.

I cannot even start to describe how rude the service was to me today at this café. The waiter decided, after I had paid for my lunch, that they were losing money having me sat in a four chair table, the only one available when I ordered and paid, and told me very rudely to move to another table. He... More

We went on a busy Sunday morning for the "full monty" breakfast. It was HUGE and well worth the money. The coffee and teas were piping hot and poured with care. The food was delicious and it's well worth a visit.

Good value, tasty breakfast - I have also been for supper and similar applies. The décor and 'other amenities' are somewhat basic but clean and functional.

We found the Primrose Café today whilst visiting Clifton. It was really busy but the staff managed the constant flow of customers brilliantly, they were well organised, professional and charming. Once ordered we didn't need to wait very long for our delicious brunch, Really enjoyed the veggie monty. Highly recommend!

This was recommended to us for a lunch time treat and that it sure was. The location was quaint with the option of sitting in or alfresco. It was a lovely afternoon so we sat out. I had the deluxe fish finger sandwhich which was gougons of salmon with salad in soft fresh granary bread. It was probably the nicest... More
