We’ve been to a number of curry houses but this one beats the lot. With clean-tasting food, plenty of flavour, not swimming in mounds of oil, this is the place for a good curry. Plenty of meat rather than a few bits of meat in...an ocean of sauce, very reasonable prices and pleasant, helpful staff. It’s a bit of a shame it has more of a cafe-style feel to the place rather than a nice restaurant but… great food!More

Went here for dinner with my 2 young boys and husband the food was spot on so delicious I cant rate the service enough I always get a take away from here but because of the service was so good I will be going into...the restaurant from now on, my young boys were trying Indian food for the 1st time they recommended what foods to get and even praised them for eating it really made my boys feel proud of themselves and they want to go back its the little things that make me happy and they won my vote for it all food, service and a great evening cant beat that!More

We ordered a simply take-away of tandoori chicken, prawns, Naan bread and dahl. The chicken hadn't been marinated/brined properly and so was as dry as anything - tandoori cooked foods should be moist inside, but sadly so rarely are from many restaurants. The prawns were...so dry they were almost chewy. But they cost £12. I normally don't order Indian food from anywhere for precisely these reasons. We only did because I felt lazy, I should know better. I will return to cooking Indian food myself on my tawa and wood fire outside.More

What an amazing restaurant. The Tawa platter is amazing. The food was very tasty and well presented. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Aylesbury. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone who like Indian food.

I ordered takeaway as due to lockdown not able to visit places. I must say it was the best curry I had. We make curries at home everyday but one from El-halal was perfectly seasoned and spice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all...my family and friends. 5 StarsMore

One of the best Indian restaurant in town. Best Chef and friendly staff. Ordered Takeaway arrived well in time and food was hot and delicious.

We have used this restaurant for years but the last 3 takeaways we have had the chicken has been very dry .Will be looking for another Indian restaurant to try

So pleased to be back at our favourite curry restaurant. Had a lovely meal and service excellent as always. My vegetable bhuna was really nice. We will continue to eat here as always good.
