We have visited Kappad many times. The food is exceptional and the staff are second to none! Even when they are very busy, which is the norm, they always take the time to make you feel a special customer. Eat out regularly but this is...my favourite restaurant by far!More

Although I have lived in High Wycombe for years, I hadn't thought of visiting Kappad until someone recommended it to me. I have certainly missed out! The restaurant was full on a Saturday evening, with a pleasing mix of western diners and Indian families. The...service was friendly, welcoming and thorough, and the food incredibly tasty. A very different experience from eating the food of other parts of the sub-continent. There was a video at the back of the room showing scenes from Kerala - exactly like what we saw on our own visit a few months ago - and best of all, the staff joined to sing "Happy Birthday" to my 28 year old son. We learned about classic meals, new to us, such as Adipoli Kozhi and Calicut Chicken Biryani, and the final bill was incredibly reasonable for such excellent diing.More

It'south Indian food, so no tandoori etc ... My son likes this restaurant very much, I was not years back very much convinced by the delivery service. First time in the restaurant proper, nice place well decorated, indian but not too much, excellent smiling service....The food is very good. Different breads. Excellent squid. Excellent beef, of course very rare in Indian cuisine. I was with two people who don't like spicy food and they ate everything, what a compliment ! I will come back to test other dishes.More

Aswin greeted us a lovely man with a naturally warm and welcoming vibe, I asked him what to order for the best meal he pointed out the specials they had running I chose the starter from the specials from his recommendation and DAMN it was...good. Later into the service we also had a second server Edward who is very time conscious and quick to refill your cobras 😂 all in all they made our night a very pleasurable one and I will definitely visit again.More

Had meal with friends after reading previous reviews. We are glad we did, the food was fantastic. We were looked after well the service was second to none. We all had the Thali one vegetarian and 3 meat ones one of our party was gluten...free and the bread was changed for a gluten free one. Will certainly visit again when in area.More

Authentic Indian restaurant who know what they are doing. A different and better experience than other Indian restaurants. Greqt food and service first class. Back next time we do a wembley visit

The food at Kappad is absolutely delicious. You won’t find the usual Kormas, Bhunas and Tikka Massala here. The dishes originate from South India and so are really different. They are not oily at all, but they are fragrant and really flavoursome. Everything is cooked...with care. Great selection including lamb, chicken and fish curries. We loved the crab samosas and the dosas are amazing. Highly recommend.More

The perfect place to try southern Indian cuisine with a large choice of meat, fish and vegetable dishes. We had two fish and two chicken and all were well cooked and spiced. Portions are very generous, l'd recommend one dosa between two if you are...having a main course. The prices and service are both excellent. We are already planning to come back for the lunchtime special.More

We liked everything about this restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful from the start. The chef amended my wife’s main meal to accommodate a food preference. Food wonderful and authentic. I compared notes with my friend in Kerala who confirmed the authenticity of the...dishes we discussed. Good value too. Superb experience and we intend to visit again when next in the area.More
