Love The Boot as the service is always good whether popping in for just a drink or like today for a traditional Sunday roast at the end of a lovely but rather damp walk. And have never found fault with the food - either in...terms of quality or value for money. I know we'll be back!More

We arrived early and were immediately shown to our table. Within no time we ordered drinks followed by our meal choices. 3 of us had roastbeef and 1 had roast belly of pork. Great meals; beef was perfect. Extra gravy was provided promptly when asked.

We ended up here after coming from Oxford to High Wycombe on our way to London.
My husband booked as good reviews.
Ordered traditional Sunday lunch - 2 x rolled pork belly and a roast beef.
Well we ate every morsel - I appreciate good...food and this was it!!
Met the lovely Adele who runs the pub who was as beautiful as she was charming, and with a very personal touch turned my MIL'S birthday meal into something very special ☺️
We have raved about this meal so much our extended family are already looking to come again with us in a couple of weeks!
PS Dogs welcome

Lovely meal from the new menu. Loved our starter of Bon Bons. Our fish dishes were very tasty, both the battered fish and plaice. Very friendly and informative staff. Can recommend!
Look out for specifically offers when dining mid week!!

We arrived on bikes having cycled 35 miles to sample the Wagyu burger after a friend’s recommendation.
We received a very friendly welcome and were given an excellent explanation of what made the burger special.
The quality of the meat was exceptional. Very juicy and...a good size. Well cooked though unfortunately I got my friend’s and he got mine. Both cooked differently and impossible to swap once the first bite was taken!
The wasabi mayonnaise was delicious and no way overpowered anything. The greenery in the burger was fresh. All contained in a great brioche bun.
Plus bonus onion rings!
Unfortunately the fries were slightly under done. Maybe hotter oil or a minute longer?
Overall I’d give the burger 8.5/10 so well worth a visit. Perhaps two mouthfuls too big for a cycling lunch but I’m just greedy.
Super garden and great staff. Thank you.More
