Limoncello is Cambridge's premiere Italian Delicatessan & Restaurant, it opened in Mill Road on August 28th, 1997 in premises only half its present size. The shop moved to its current location at 212 Mill Road in October 2001. Luke carefully selects every product that the shop stocks himself, and makes frequent visits to Italy to find new delights to add to the range on offer to Limoncello's customers.Some 98% of the shop's stock is imported from Italy, including the four varieties of fresh pesto, olives, cheeses, meats and antipasti. Great Italian food and best customer service

I really enjoy visiting Limoncello. Their staff are super friendly (especially Esse, who always welcomes you with a smile), the atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the terrace at the back... A hidden garden that is open all the year (it's heated for winter and...they provide cute blankets!). I like going there for just a coffee with a cannolo or for dinner. I recommend it 100%More

Very cold venue

Disappointing evening as it was so cold in the restaurant. 2 ok meals, 1 disappointing meal. Vegetarian lasagne was very oily and rocket on starter dish was very wilted. For an expensive menu this was disappointing

A great spot on mill road

A lovely restaurant with a fun atmosphere. Really great food - I loved the goats cheese and rocket pizza, and the cocktails are delicious.

Fantastic meal and venue

We booked here as it looked really cute and authentic, and we were thoroughly satisfied. The food was exquisite and I ate every last bit. The deli in the front of the restaurant was a lovely touch as we ended up going home with a...few goodies. The pumpkin gnocchi is the best gnocchi I’ve ever eatenMore

Family Dinner

Going back!

Fabulous late lunch as a treat from my daughter in law. Great service from super staff. Baked Camembert followed by Risotto made my day. Definitely going back. Lucky to try the Pumpkin Espresso Martini - sure fire winner!!

Lovely place for lunch

Worth a visit to see what you think.

This was a long awaited special night out and the restaurant was recommended to us by friends. The 'garden' area is very pretty. Staff very friendly and welcoming and took orders to kitchen without writing them down, possibly why one of our mains didn't arrive...with the others. The delay was awkward as we waited for that person's course to arrive and our risottos were warm rather than hot in the first place. Lovely food, but quite a small menu so v limited choice if you have dietary requirements. Both food and wine pricy for what they were. An extra drink had been mistakenly added to our bill. Would I go back? Its a maybe as it felt a bit disorganised and there are lots of other options in this part of town, but the food is delicious!More

Super friendly, super tasty Italian

Tried here for the first time Thursday night and sat in the delightful covered garden area. The whole place was buzzing. Service was super friendly and efficient (nothing was written down and everything remembered for the 4 of us!). The authentic Italian food was was...fresh, lush and tasty from the burrata starter to pizza and risotto. A real gem on Mill Road. See you again soon.More

Mill road gem
