Nice pub with a good selection of proper beer. Food is ok but there are better places nearby if you are a foodie. The place is often very busy but it is worth a visit if you are in town.

This famous bar is quite cozy. It is a regular spot for many and has a wide beer selection. The food is decent as well.

Lots of reasons to stop here. Nice atmosphere in old building that is steeped in history (DNA or WWII anyone?). Besides that, the food is actually quite good pub food. We had an excellent mac and cheese, lental soup, some daily vegetables, and a good...More

I came here for Sunday lunch with my family and were left waiting an hour for our food even though we’d booked a table. It was really busy but it would have been nice for the staff to acknowledge we’d been waiting so long or...More

A quick drink after our tour of Cambridge. Lovely ambience, plenty of seating. We loved the warm milled wine.

Cosy and warm place. I'm always amazed by all the history that has happened in there. Nice classic pub food, we'll served and amazing ales. A must have if you are not from here.

Probably not a lot to add to the praise from other visitors, but do try to visit if you get the chance. Has a friendly, busy feel to it - and a good selection of beers.

Stopped by here for a pint after taking a walking tour. Nice piece of history here, including Watson and DNA announcement. Enjoyed the large selection of beers. Sat outside and people watched on a nice fall day. Was not busy, but could see how at...More
