This is a compact cafe, tucked down a side street, we wanted a snack but did not want to pay High Street Brand name prides I had Bacon , Brie and Redcurrant Ciabatta, there was plenty of good quality bacon and it was done to...perfection , there are a number of seating units although the premises is small: it punches above its weight with cheerful friendly staff.--Very RecommendedMore

I love coming here as often as possible, the staff are always so welcoming and the food is bound to be great. I'm so pleased they are staying open over lockdown as a take-away service, as it is great food on the go, whether you...want a baguette/panino or hot food like curries or soup! 100% recommendMore

We went back despite the fact last time we were not happy with the food - my panini was cold, but my partner's ok. This time though his soup was cold and they replaced the cheese/ham baguette in the deal with a slice of buttered...toast each, which made for a terrible deal for over £7 for two people (take away). The terrible replacement was not explained properly, I thought we should just get the same filling with different bread, but no, just toasted bread of the cheapest kind. They still had ciabattas and we would have been happy to pay more and have those, but no initiative there. So when my partner went back with his cold soup, he was given a cake as an apology. We were still hungry and had to buy extra stuff elsewhere. Two strikes and you are out... we are local residents with long memories. Service was good, it is the food we object to and it was not heated up properly again, aside the bum deal we got.More

If you are in Cambridge and near Pembroke college PLEASE visit this cafe. We popped in on a recent visit and were delighted we did! The food was perfect, warm, and tasty on a cool day and the ladies that run the cafe were so...friendly. The menu is filled with vegetarian food and the best part is the very reasonable prices. In the center of Cambridge, this cafe with its tasty food and delicious drinks was only 20 pounds for four of us to eat lunch. Please visit and you will not be disappointed!More

Trockle cafe was a small oasis for me! I called in for lunch for myself and a takeaway meal for my daughter during a uni open day. I had a delicious feta cheese and dill quiche with some tea. Even though she was busy, the...proprietor was warm, kind, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!More

has this restaurant been passed and not visited. In need of sustenance is a hurry, a stop was made. Very busy with a constant flow of new arrivals, the service was exemplary and the quality second to none at very reasonable prices.
