A local pub which has a number of B&B rooms in an adjacent annex. Rooms fairly priced (Includes a brilliant breakfast). Comfortable and warm with magnificent sized beds. Only critisism is that the shower lacked water pressure - more of a dribble than a spray.

Good lasagne & choice of beer. Friendly atmosphere and comfortable settees to sit on. We visited on a Monday night when it wasn't busy but can imagine it being pretty full at weekends.

My wife and I stopped in for a quiet drink when visiting Cambridge. The pub sets back on the Church Lane off of Trumpington High Street. It is a lovely Georgian style inn with bay windows and even circular window seats to match the contours. The interior has a bit of wear, but this adds to the charm. When we... More

Just popped in for a meal after visiting Addenbrookes Hospital. Lovely old pub and good service. Steak was wonderful, fresh and succulent.

Last minute booking but service not an afterthought. Outstanding! Go stay, you'll love it! The chalet rooms are very comfortable, the staff are diamond. As a needy traveller they sorted me out. Small enough to care I guess. I will return. Thank you.

Very good Sunday Lunches Complimentary soup, followed by choice of 2 meats from carvery, which sometimes includes lamb. Help yourself to a large choice of vegetables all for under a tenner for adults. It is best to go early, as gets busy and before the choice of meats becomes limited. A great old fashioned village pub on the outskirts of... More
