I am always on the hunt for gluten free fish and chips and was so excited when I saw the menu. A really unique place, lovely setting. There are plenty of gluten free options. Food was fine but not quite excellent, the batter on our...More
Really nice quirky idea, it’s simple but effective that the menu is pie or fish and chips but it works because you choose your options, Sadly when we visited I been planning over a week to visit for a birthday trip and already planned via...More
A novel menu, where you can 'build you own' fish and chips or pie meal. Food tasted great and service was very good and helpful. Decent range of drinks and a pleasant surprise when the bill came as they were continuing to offer a discount...More

Last night's fish and chips have knocked Rick Stein's off top plaice and now rank as my firm favourite! Lovely relaxed ambience, good selection of beers and the G&T suggested by the staff was amazing. Social distancing seems planned, well adhered to and worked really...More

I really love the concept of building your own dinner but in all honesty this was not the best fish and chips.
Had the tempura batter but it was not really like tempura and was very hard. My husbands beer batter was also hard.
Absolutely delicious fish pie! The cod fish and chips was also very good! I did not like their desserts - apple/rhubarb crumble and the sticky toffee puding-. But the food is really good. The prices are very average as well. I would go there again.
We were glad that we booked this place as it proved very popular despite the rain. The menu is simple, fish and chips or pie, but there is a spin. The restaurant was clean and staff friendly. The food was fine but could have benefitted...More
Nipped in here to get out of the rain & ended up staying for a lovely couple of drinks & delicious bar snacks! Really friendly staff & good selection of beers too 👍🏻 thanks very much for providing shelter from the rain !
