We had Sunday roast with 11 people, and everyone was happy. We had some starters, mostly beef roast and some desserts/coffee. My only other comment is that I would have liked to have more greens on the plate, but I was too stingy to order...More

I have dined here in the past and chose it on a solo visit to Madingley and Cambridge. The service was excellent and I looked forward to eating the expensive 10oz ribeye steak, which came with a pepper sauce. The vegetables were excellent but the...More

Whenever I’ve visited (early evening midweek) I’ve had great, well presented and well cooked food and puddings and with decent vegetarian options (tough call in Cambridgeshire). Professional understated yet helpful derive with clean...More

We took our father to celebrate his 90th Birthday and there was another party celebrating another 90th at the same time. It is an excellent location for a special party with easy parking and an outside area to just sit and have a drink. There...More

Superb gastropub with quality food and good service. Pleasant gardens when weather permits. Advisable to book at weekends. Real ales kept properly and unusual wine list focussed on Languedoc in the south of France.

Short drive to Madingley for lunch. Food, beer and wine were very good, staff friendly, and atmosphere wonderful. close to the American Cemetery and Madingley park and ride. Well worth the short drive from Cambridge for lunch.

Description
A picturesque thatched inn, The Three Horseshoes is nestled in an idyllic village just 3 miles from Cambridge city centre. Voted Cambridgeshire Dining Pub of the Year for 2018, the restaurant serves hearty, comforting dishes, a fresh fish board and plenty of options for vegetarians. Particular attention has been paid to preserving the traditional pub with its real fire and cosy corners. Dogs are welcome in the pub. Enjoy local real ales, cocktails and a wine list focused on the Languedoc-Roussillon. Since January 2018 The Three Horseshoes has entered an exciting new chapter as part of Cambscuisine, a local group of independent restaurants.
