Great takeaway - one of the best we’ve had! We were moored on the river and found this a short walk away and got some yummy food. Onion bhajees, chicken tikka biryani (huge portion!), dansak and rice and naan. Fresh and delicious- I loved it...all as did hubby. We think they've changed the chef. This used to be a fantastic restaurant that we visited twice a month but the last four visits we have made have been very poor.

Very friendly staff. Accidentally spilt my glass of wine which was immediately replaced free of charge. Excellent service with lovely food. Would definitely recommend and come again

Food arrived absolutely cold! Nann burnt, mango chutney missing, food was highly disappointing! The only thing that was right was it arrived on time

Just had an argument with the guy on the desk saying that his customer service wasn’t good enough had to wait an hour for my food while I was there I had a beer and his customer service was disgusting the other customers wasn’t happy...about this either absolutely disgusting don’t know if I can go back again !!!!More

Honestly. This is the worst food I've had. I've been cooking better curries than this lot since I was 9! Horrible. Oh, and the roti..? Not even rolled or cooked properly. You can taste it's still raw.

The food was substandard. The naan wasn’t soft and fluffy at all, it was so overdone that it was crisp. I didn’t enjoy that at all. The Bhindi Okra was really nice. The butter chicken was aweful and the chicken was dry. It was all...ordered late so maybe I got leftovers?!! Sorry but I wouldn’t recommend. And the food was just dumped on my doorstep, nice. The owner is also a sleeze and is rude to customers.More

This is by far the best Indian in the area. I live in Ely so drive 15 mins to them..it’s worth it. Yes it’s a little pricier but at least if you order King Prawns they are exactly that. You get home and open the...property packaged food and it looks restaurant quality. I really can’t recommend them enough and I have lived in Ely 12 years plus after being spoilt for choice in London. Many of us love a curry and many of us have dined in many different Bangladeshi / Asian restaurants. Many have a favourite and let me guess; you feel like trying something different but end up going for your tried and trusted favourite curry and...side dishes over and over again! If you really love curries / Bangladeshi & Asian cuisine then it’s my duty to bring this restaurant to your attention. It quite literally cannot be beaten. The extensive menu, the quality of the food, fantastic presentation and second to none service make it deserve my title of; The Unbeatable Indian Garden. It has a five star hygiene rating and was voted runner up as best Indian Restaurant in the UK. That’s one heck of an achievement, don’t believe me? The plaque is just inside the door. I have introduced so many people to this restaurant and everybody, EVERYBODY (and yes, I am shouting!) has said they’ve never experienced anything like it. OK, I’m biased but with very good cause - it’s unbeatable. My latest introductions were my sister and niece (pictured), it hardly deserves a mention what they thought but I’m going to put it anyway, “We’ve never experienced anything quite like this”.
