A large airy cafe situated on a working farm. Serving delicious breakfasts, great tea and coffee and a wide range of lunch time meals. There is a small children's play area outside with extensive outside seating.
Having previously enjoyed a really lovely Saturday lunch at La Hogue sampling their very good food, I was anxious to introduce La Hogue to some friends of ours.
So, a couple of weeks ago we turned up there on a Sunday afternoon having booked a...More
A recent discovery on the recommendation of friends. What a discovery! Locally sourced products, beautifully cooked and well presented. We will definitely be visiting again. We took advantage of the take away service too. The sausage rolls were too tempting; tasted good too! Cannot rate...More
Quite possibly one of our favorite places for breakfast. Usually go for either a full breakfast or one of the bacon/egg rolls, both options are really good. We always like to take cake home too, and there is definitely a good selection to choose from!...More
As always a great breakfast here, all cooked well and very fast service considering how busy it was, I would like to add that the only thing stopping a five star rating is the latte, it is so hot it seems to ruin the milk...More

We stopped here for an early lunch, while travelling to Lowestoft. We were not disappointed and surprised to find such a lovely farm shop. It had everything from gifts, fantastic butchers, fresh fruit and veg. The cafe area had so many tempting cakes and snacks...More

Sorry can't help you with this one as I haven't been back since the last episode with the offhand and rude staff. For those who can't understand the bad reviews or think people are 'reading too much into a few reviews', those of us who have had bad experience are as entitled to express our finding just as much as those who have been satisfied. I have myself written positive reviews in the past as I believe in praise but equally in criticism. There is no room for abrupt treatment of customers, as there are many other places to go eat in this very competitive environment.
