This was a nice friendly pub which was very clean. Very well priced. It is priced like a Wetherspoons but the service was far superior All round great value for money

Clean drinking bowls and doggy treats all 'help yourself'. If you have children there are board games to kerp them occupied, and of course excellent food and ales. Cannot recommend The Minster enough!!!! And the landlady is lovely too!!!!

The Minster is located a few meters from the Cathedral, A good range of beers and wines and decent pub food. Not expensive and locals use it so it can't be bad. If you're looking for something a bit more upmarket there are plenty to...More

Happened upon this local pub in Ely & glad that we did. They served up a lovely selection of foods at a very reasonable cost. Great pub, very friendly hosts & definitely worth a visit.

Description
The Minster Tavern is directly under the shadow of the impressive Ely Cathedral and just a stone’s throw from the centre. In the heart of the community, we work closely with local charities, fund-raising, and get involved with local community events. We are currently a key sponsor of the Ely Tigers rugby squad and also a supporter of Ely FC and sponsor the Minster Tavern 7 a side team. SKY Sports plays a big part in our venue, as do darts and cards. We enjoy seeing lots of regulars, plus plenty of tourists. We are the oldest hostelry in Ely – a truly traditional pub!
