Absolutely loved this pub. Very attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere. We had booked the table in advance, and were very accommodating with our late arrival. As it was a big family gathering, there were plenty of choices for starters and desserts (we opted for the same main to make life easier). Got to taste a bit of everything and... More

We decided after a busy day to visit the The Swan as it's our closest pub and not been for a year or so. The food has improved but still very average. The starter of Squid wasn't great.. however the burger was an improvement... it's somewhere to go due to convenience and not quality of food. The staff were very polite... More

Well, where do I start? We returned back here for a family meal on Saturday, we sat down and within minutes there was a medical emergency, the manager and staff explained the situation which everyone was understanding. I went to visit the bathroom and saw the owner confronting a staff member saying "We start serving food now! Step over his... More

A visit to the Swan did not disappoint, a simply lovely place. An incident arose when a visitor who had been feeling unwell and had just come in, collapsed in front of the kitchen doors. This meant the kitchen was totally cut off from the restaurant causing food to be delayed whilst emergency services attended. The staff were exceptional, very... More

Having had a tough day and finishing in Littleport we found this great little Inn on the riverside. The staff were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. We ordered drinks and ordered our food. When it came it was presented well and the portions were good. Food was hot all the way through and was also... More

We stayed here for a night on our boat. We had arranged to leave my brothers car in the carpark so he and the sister in law could meet us and have a boat trip. We all had an excellent meal, the waitress was an absolute star and a credit to herself and the pub. Decent food and drink that... More

The reason I've given 5 stars rests with the staff. Very friendly and polite. I really appreciated being asked if I wanted ice in my OJ and lemonade. Usually I am subjected to most of my drink being frozen water. The menu was very good. Not too many mind boggling selections. I opted for roast lamb and boy was it... More

We went for lunch on a wonderful sunny day (today), we ordered from the main menu though. I went for the Pie of the Day which was steak and red wine with chips, seasonal veg and gravy and my partner went for the Flat Iron Steak with tomato, mushroom and chips. The food was pretty standard pub grub and the... More
