We sat outside at the rear of the building. Lovely spot to be on a sunny morning. The food (£10pp) was excellent including proper sausages and crispy bacon. The tea also went down well.

we stayed for 8 nights at the Georgian while I was on a bell ringing course on Alderney. The breakfasts were delicious, as were the meals in the restaurant in the evening, we really liked the fact that there was still a proper pub downstairs....The staff were all great and very helpful. This place is the real hub of the island with the bell ringers meeting for coffee on Sunday in the garden , chess club, yoga, knitting club amongst others all using the buildingMore

A quite superb lunch. Really good choice on the menu. The group chose traditional roasts which were excellent in quality and sourced on island. The duck was really well cooked and the sources round it superb. The desserts are 2nd to none and quality especially...the Armond crumble and the sharing dish between two which included Tiramisu and chocolate pudding. To finish off the wine list was comprehensive and clear and our choice of red was spot on. Servers were pleasant and informed and it was a joy to go there to eat. We will return many thanksMore

Been here before always ok Just had Sunday lunch and disappointing to say the least. The gravy was like water the roast potatoes rock hard as overcooked. My partner had the roast lamb -it came as wedged into a precast square mould including acres of...fat and shredded lamb -not what you expect from a roast. When we had finished -or not as plate half full -no question asked We left paid the bill but zero tip. Lots of other good restaurants on Alderney so please don’t let that stop you visiting. Loving our staycation here. . Staff generally there were lovely though. Talking to somebody over a drink after our lunch its the third time he has heard this in a week!!!More

As a regular customer of the Georgian I obviously don't write a review each time I eat there. However I visited last night and ate a fabulous meal, with attentive but not intrusive friendly service washed down with a very reasobably priced but delicious wine....I also witnessed a very rude customer being dealt with by the Manager and Staff in a totally proffesional manner. Alderney is well served with a number of excellent restaurants, The Georgian being amongst the top.More
