A really good meal. Excellent value supper from 6-7pm. The cinema deal.£18 for a main and a drink. The fish and chips were really tasty. Also the Kiln Farm burger. Worth giving it a go!

Just about the best Steak I have ever eaten. Had to return for another a day later. Not cheap, but happy to pay for quality this good.

This was our favourite place last time we visited, and did not disappoint this time. Sunday lunch and 2 dinners, the food was fabulous, and charming staff. The upstairs restaurant (The Orangery) is really beautiful. Bills on the high side, but understandably so. It is...always busy, it was packed on a Weds evening off-season, so you will need to book. Many thanks!More

Order the fruits de mer with 48 hours notice if you can and feast on lobster, crab, huge juicy prawns, peppered red cabbage Cole slaw and triple cooked chips. Plenty of seafood specials. Upstairs restaurant is stunning, staff and excellent, knowledgeable, friendly. Full of people...who like good food. Not pricey, will definitely be back.More

Great old fashioned Sunday lunch and a great band to listen to all afternoon. Nice atmosphere and we ate inside overlooking the garden with windows open which was very relaxing. Worth a try.

A lovely lunch with friends helped by the can do attitude of the staff, when advised that we were allocated seating for 9 upstairs, we had to decline owing to one of us having mobility issues. No problem, a quick rearrangement of the downstairs area...and we were sorted, all this during Alderney Literary festival week so they were busy. Lovely food well priced and an abundance of Guinness, what more could one ask for.More

We were in Alderney on our honeymoon. A friend had told us about this restaurant and they weren't wrong. We booked without any fuss. The restaurant was not far from our hotel. We turned up and were shown straight to our table. We were sat...upstairs in a bright and airy room. You could see the garden too which looked good. We ordered drinks while looking at the menu and Specials board. We both decided on the lamb roast and were not disappointed. It was served with a variety of veg which was delicious. The lamb itself melted in the mouth and the jus served with it was very tasty. The staff were very welcoming and we mentioned we were on honeymoon and were given a free glass of Prosecco each which was greatly appreciated. We had such a relaxing time, nothing was rushed. All the other customers seemed to be having a lovely time too. We managed a dessert. We chose the local ice cream which was amazing. Overall we had a delicious lunch in beautiful surroundings at a very reasonable price. We would definitely go again.More

We came here for drinks on more than one occasion and our first visit was due to the band we could hear from our room up the street. Great atmosphere. The food was delicious and of great quality though a little pricey but I think...that is reflected in the quality and the need to import lots of product. Would highly recommend for that special night while you are on the island.More

The regular menu looked like good everyday modern pub food. The specials were just that, special. I don't usually east fish but the description of bream with curried squash and onion bhaji intrigued so I had that. Brilliant! My other half and our guest were...equally impressed with theirs. Will definitely go back on next visit to Alderney. They keep their beer nicely as well. Recommended to real ale people.More

Simply delicious food for all the various wedding events over the weekend - top quality food beautifully served throughout - starting with the canapes at the drinks reception, the main meal at the wedding (meltingly gorgeous Kiln Farm beef with garlic crushed potatoes and pear...walnut celery and blue cheese salad), the late night pizzas and the delicious pulled lamb and crab & prawn baps on Sunday!!More

Wonderful meal. Staff helpful and friendly. Three of us had a Sunday roast which was very nice and came with lots of vegetables. One had veggie burger and chips and I had crab linguine which was the best I have ever tasted. I will definitely...be having that again next time I eat there. We sat in the conservatory which was light and airy and then continued in the garden with drinks after dining. I would definitely recommend.More
