Always worth a visit. The terraces are stunning , also has a games room for board games for kids. Pity they only stock Stella as we prefer Carlsberg, but that said always made to feel welcome

Very unusual, quirky off-licence but typically endearing part of the island way of life. Help yourself to items then take to pay at bar.

This hotel was booked for us as part of a bespoke package to the Channel Islands. We stayed here in Alderney for two nights only, thank goodness. We were not warmly greeted on arrival, we had to wander round searching for someone to tell them we had arrived. Although the proprietor was pleasant in a very quiet way, he neither... More

We loved it here last time we came to Alderney, though it is always quiet (but to be fair we do not visit in peak season). This time we still loved the friendly staff, but the food seemed very bland to us (and we are not ones for fancy or spicy food!) - it was not nearly as good as... More

Went for dinner on a Friday evening having forgot it was the start of the Alderney air races and the restaurant was busy with a table of 18 having just placed an order. We were told up front that there would be about an hours wait which was find for us. The food was fantastic, really well seasoned fish and... More

We arrived on a Sunday lunchtime and were booked in for lunch at the Harbour Lights. When we arrived the restaurant was a little empty but it was close to the time they stop serving so was to be expected. The food was lovely and cooked to perfection. Staff were lovely and friendly. Will be visiting again

The food at the Harbour Lights is of a good standard and generous portions (you won't leave hungry), the chef is very accommodating and even offered to rustle up a chicken curry (not on the menu) because one of our party fancied one.

The Harbour Lights is a very popular restaurant renowned for its English and European cuisine and in particular fresh seafood. Our chef uses the freshest ingredients to produce mouth watering dishes which are beautifully presented.Lunch (12.00-2.00) and dinner (6.30 to 9.00)are served in both the restaurant and Bistro. Snacks are also available in the Bistro.Weather permiting you may prefer to dine in one of the five terraces. Our upper terrace is particularly popular as you are surrounded by exotic plants, grasses, palms and flowers, it has hand carved Indian sandstone paving and private alcolves made from railway sleepers. Then there is the peace and quiet and fabulous sea view. We are able to cater for any number of diners as well as cater for all sorts of functions including weddings, birthdays etc.
