We were staying at the Chester Grosvenor for our wedding anniversary and thought we'd try this restaurant. Very glad we did. The food was wonderful; enough choice but not too much and absolutely delicious from start to finish. Service also superb- just right, not at...More

The food and staff excellent as always. A very enjoyable lunch in Simon Radley's, followed by the afternoon in Arkles lounge. The restaurant and lounge were quieter than usual, however this did affect the overall experience. The staff are very attentive, however not over the...More

Food and wine impeccable, adventurous and interesting. Be prepared for more unusual dishes such as pigeon and offal. Desserts, huge bread board and cheeses were all knock-out. Our only reservation is that the staff are overly attentive. If the table conversation is lively they should...More

It can be a little overbearing at times but the food generally is outstanding. Some dishes don't work for me but most are good and clearly a lot of effort is made. It's expensive but not super expensive for what it is.

Having trawled TripAdvisor to help us decide where to eat, we stopped in at the Grosvenor on the off chance that they might have a table on Friday evening. We got lucky and despite it being a very busy evening, we ate a gorgeous dinner...More

Visited the Simon Radley for my birthday treat last night. When we arrived at 6.30 the restaurant and lounge were quite empty but the waiter insisted we had to go straight to our table rather than have pre dinner drinks in lounge ! How odd?...More

Is there a dress code for dining in this restaurant. Are men in suits? Or a more casual smart? Jeans?

Description
Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor, has held a Michelin star for nineteen years running surely a record outside of London. Under the direction of Executive Chef Simon Radley the exceptional modern British menu changes seasonally and uses only the finest ingredients. The cellar is also renowned, having one thousand bins and a sommelier of prodigious knowledge. The dining room itself is as dashing as you would expect with comfy chairs, oriental carpets, fine woods, original artwork, ebony pillars and many-layered tones of gold and taupe. The service is distinguished by its warmth and professionalism. Top marks.
