Authentic ingredients not found elsewhere, consistently great quality from the base to the toppings - this is definitely the best pizza I've had in Chester and most other places.
Speed of service is always good and I've even made special requests over social media and they've happily obliged.
It's always very popular at peak times in the market and I cannot recommend them highly enough - wonderful quality and tasting pizza that is the go-to for Neapolitan pizza

The best Taste of Italy in the North West!
Usually, when you enter an Italian restaurant, and the customers include Italian families, you can already assume the food is going to be excellent, and trust me - it was.
I couldn’t recommend this place more - great service, reasonable food prices - drinks are slightly overpriced at £2.50 for a can, but the food makes up for it with ease.
10/10!

Ate here last Saturday and booked in advance. However this didn’t stop a constant flow of walk ins.
The food was great - pizzas are a good 8/10 and worth going alone.
We’re not people too worried about going out etc re the virus, but were quite concerned at their lack of spacing between tables and the sheer speed they turn you round.
The restaurant was packed to normal levels of capacity and they’d served us up 3 courses in 55 minutes which although good for some, did feel like we were being hurried out so they could cram in as many walks ins from the queue.
Again, great Pizza but zero social distancing or consideration for it.
They even moved tables closer together to accommodate a table of 6...

We had wanted to go to the branch of this restaurant at Chester market for ages but every time we went it was full. After hearing they had opened a new restaurant on watergate street we finally decided to try it. On. A Monday night it was fairly busy but they still did a great job of sticking to social distancing rules. I had the crochet to start and my husband had the mozzarella and Parma ham, both just the right size for starters and tasted great. The pizzas were amazing- mine provola, Pepe e peperoncino which was smoked mozzarella with Parmesan and chilli oil was one of the best pizzas I’d ever had! Too full for dessert but finished with a limoncello which had the true Italian taste. Throughout our meal the young waitress who served us was so friendly and attentive. Would definitely come here again and wish them all the best for this new restaurant p!

Having come to Chester for a mini break, we were walking round looking for somewhere to have something to eat for lunch (just a light bite really) and stumbled across this place. I fancied trying it and I am so glad we did! The pizzas were authentic Neapolitan style pizzas, and the staff were so friendly. I really enjoyed thy r capricciosa pizza! We just shared this and the mozzarella and Parma ham starter as we were eating out in the evening and it was plenty. I would highly recommend if you are coming to Chester!

An entirely amazing experience - the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful in regard to intolerances and giving truthful portion size ideas. The restaurant itself has a cosy feel and atmosphere to it. The pizzas we had tasted amazing, light & homemade. They also had the BEST vegan cheese I’ve ever tasted. The tiramisu dessert was delightful as well. The restaurant gives the recommended wine pairings for each dish too which was very helpful!
Overall an amazing visit, we will be sure to visit again!

I've been here multiple times with various individuals and I love the pizza from here it is amazing.
It is definitely worth the price here, cannot get a better pizza.
I love how it a small business and a hidden gem in chester.
Always my recommendation for people who want just Pizza, most relaxed setting too in the market, staff are lovely and very chilled out.

We were lucky enough to get a seat on the opening weekend for Giacomo's new restaurant. Much like the pizzas he produces in Chester Market, the food in Watergate St is just exceptional. The quality of the ingredients really shines through and is made the star of the show thanks to the talents of the chefs.
The authentic pizzas are probably the best I have ever eaten, certainly outside of Italy. Gutted that I missed the rum babars on the evening we ate there but the chocolate tart was amazing. I can also highly recommend the Italian beer "Sud" from Baldin... a beautiful wit beer that pairs brilliantly with the pizzas.
The decor inside is beautiful and reminiscent of pizzeria in the Naples region. Tiles imported from the region help give an unmistakeably Neapolitan atmosphere.

This is our 2nd visit in a year. First time, we were wowed by the light & airy Neapolitan pizza dough (having not previously tried it before). Now, we are not novices!
The dough is still light & airy, but this time, all our 3 pizzas were on the very salty side. OH said the predominant taste/ smell in his calzone is the ‘burnt’ bits on the crust, but for me the predominant taste was how salty it was, and that I could not taste the different toppings. Well, there weren’t many toppings, considering the £13 per pizza price tag. I remarked to waitress that the ‘pork cheek’ topping on my pizza tasted like bacon, when she noted that I had left all of it uneaten on my plate. I have tasted pork cheek before, where it is literally so soft it falls off the bone- it tasted nothing like what was on my pizza - pink, salty, thick strips and very bacon-like. Unsurprisingly all 3 of us were up throughout the night downing loads of water.
Only saving grace this time was the Parmigiana aubergine starter, which was pleasantly lightly salted and tasty, we could taste the aubergines, tomato sauce and cheese. For that I gave this experience 3 stars.
Disappointing experience, would not come back again in a hurry

Really busy so had high hopes and also heard good things. Initially struggled to get served after waiting as a couple of staff seemed to avoid eye contact. Ordered a Provolo pepe e peperoncino pizza which I mistakenly thought was pepperoni and the waitress said it was a veggie pizza but we can add pepperoni to it.
Pizza arrived via a different waitress with ham on it and after checking I was reassured it was correct even though basil was also missing. It was nice enough (with chilli oil added) but then the original waitress passed and said that's not right and she made sure the pepperoni was added to it. Nice setting but won't be racing back with all the great food choices we have in Chester.

They have a very basic menux, not much to choose from. When I ask for a decent common beer like Peroni they didn’t have any, what they have is probably some cheap beer you never heard of. If you ask for soft drink they bring to you just a can of coke (no glass with ice) and charge you 30p worth (bulk buy) can for £3. The so-called pizza has a huge crust like ring of balun and in the middle, you have some eatable area. I think, it gives the illusion that you have good size pizza and to cut the pizza they don’t give the pizza cutters they give you steak knife as you have ordered a steak. If you ask for peperoni, they give you salami as it is the same thing, they treat people like we are idiots. When I asked for pepper and salt the pepper grinder did not work it was joke. Overall, it didn’t feel like you are eating at the restaurant but some makeshift room. They didn’t even try to hide the extractor fan pipe running along the inside of the shop.
To my opinion it is not worth eating at places like that because they are not given you something authentic just a cheap food in a basic room. Only one thing good about the place is the decoration is so basic, it is easy to clean. If you care about what you eat and your money you should avoid this place.

Noticed this busy little place on the way to a so called top 10 rated Italian in the town I won’t mention the name off which we decided to get up and leave even before ordering. We ventured back to Stile Napoletano in the hope of there being a table available. Thankfully our luck was in as they found a cosy little spot in the corner for us and I’m so glad they did! This place is a little gem, beautiful authentic pizzas made with a style of dough I have never witnessed before, the best pizza we have ever had! Service , atmosphere, value for money is fantastic and I can recommend the fizz 100% !!!😃
Loved it 😍

After a wonderful day wondering around Port Merion and the corresponding areas we decided to have a nice takeaway and order pizza . After reading the reviews we decided to try this place and really enjoyed it.
The pizza was made fresh and was made on time . The flavours were delicious and the crust was light and fluffy .
If you are wanting pizza in Chester then this is the place to go . You will love it

Went in this place for lunch since I wanted to try a good pizza! The staff was really friendly and nice, they are Italian and the quality of the pizza reminded me the one you get in Naples. Definitely I would recommend this place to everyone. I’ll come back
