I frequently visit the Town Crier as its a great place to meet friends for food and drinks. Excellent value for money and incredibly friendly staff!! That's why we keep coming back. Probably the biggest beer garden in chester too so great in the summer

Our train was delayed so we dropped in for a quick dinner; most of us got fish and chips or fish cakes with salad and fries. Quick service, helpful staff and good food.

Visited here in the sunshine on bank holiday weekend. Considering it was bank holiday and the sun was out, the beer garden offered several available benches to sit at. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We just came for a couple drinks but the menu looked good.

We stayed at the Westminster Hotel next door and parked at this pub. It was £5 per night which they took off the price of the meal if you ate there. We ate there twice and were more than satisfied both time. Good portions and freshly cooked. The drinks were also inexpensive. Highly recommended.

Came here for a few drinks after the races whilst waiting for the train home. Was served efficiently and staff were friendly. Toilets were clean although a little small. We sat outside as was a warm night. Big parasols to keep the sun off with heaters and lights on when goes a bit chilly and dark. Outside area was very... More
