Had afternoon tea here today with a friend, and what a disappointment. Firstly, upon arrival our coats were not taken, yet other customers were asked if they wanted their coats hanging up. The afternoon tea is by far the worst I have had with regard...More

Lovely time having afternoon tea at the Grosvenor. Nice to have a break away from the shopping! A good variety of food and plenty for two. Excellent service from welcoming friendly and professional staff. Thank you and we look forward to visiting again soon!

Spent a lovely afternoon here with my future husband having afternoon tea, good quality food that was very tasty, especially the gentleman's afternoon tea selection. Various different teas to choose from which you could try as many as you wanted, sandwiches were replenished and as...More

Lovely afternoon tea. Opted for the traditional afternoon tea, came with beautiful sandwiches, French fancies and scones. Fantastic choice of loose tea to cater for everyone. The taste of which was perfect. Staff are highly respectful, very helpful and pleasant. Very relaxed atmosphere, a wonderful...More

We booked the boardroom for an intimate afternoon tea which was lovely, but the afternoon tea itself was quite strange. Instead of having the traditional stand for 2 or 4 people, all the sandwiches were mixed up, the gluten free sandwiches were not labelled and...More

Visited for a family birthday celebration. Doormen by main entrance were friendly and helpful. Staff at the Arkle Bar were very helpful and knowledgeable about what was on offer for the afternoon tea. Had a mixture of both traditional and gentlemens afternoon tea. The hot...More

The Arkle Bar although nice is hardly the ideal setting for a quintessential English afternoon tea. I know its not the hotel's fault but there were people in shorts and T shirts and I am usually quite relaxed when it comes to dress code. We...More

You know I can't remember, But there are not many steps into the hotel and the restaurant is on the ground floor and there are many staff to assist at the door.
