4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

We have been here a handful of times with friends and family. Lunch times are usually quieter and we've been able to take our toddler in with our being worried that he'll annoy other diners. Evenings are usually busier and its worth booking. My wife and I normally share the Shack stack which has crab, squid, mussels, prawns, oysters, scallops... More

Nice little place, definitely hit my seafood cravings. We went for a couple of glasses of white, the seafood platter and it was just right for two with good appetites. Highlights were the oysters- very big and delicious, and the very crispy squid were very tasty. Crab was probably the least good part, have had sweeter elsewhere in the world,... More

The food was exceptional as we hoped it would be due to the reviews we'd read. Although the actual restaurant was a bit like being in a shopping centre cafe, draped with cheesy fish paraphernalia. We had hake with celeriac purée, braised fennel with pea shoots, such lovely combo. The chocolate tart was the best I've had in a long... More

Popped in after quite a boozy day in Falmouth, and we were lucky to get in just before they stopped cooking. We had an amazing Fruits De Mer, which had scallops, oysters, squid, mussels, prawns and crab in copius amounts. Also, a huge bowl of chips! Great value too, and teamed with lovely friendly and welcoming staff it was excellent.... More

We ordered a shack stack - lots of seafood - at £40 - expecting a platter de fruit de mer type affair but what we got was some mussels, a cold dressed crab, a few prawns, 2 scallops (so one each), some thin chilli sauce and some skinny chips. The table was sticky, service is fine (they're not busy) but... More

I went there with my son the night before an audition. The staff were lovely, ambience great. We just had appetisers and Shiraz. The wine was good and reasonably priced. The bread was very fresh and dips well seasoned and full of flavour. A great place to go!

Low key seafood restaurant with a great two-course lunch menu, but you can go a la if you want. They knocked up six plump oysters for my pre-starter, smoked bacon chowder for real starter and fish of the day (Cornish hake) on a lovely Moroccan style chick pea base. It’s quite close to Rick Stein’s Falmouth outlet. I didn’t go... More

The winter set lunch menu was delicious. It was very good value. Very obliging staff. On a grey cold January day it was warm and welcoming. Will definitely return

A quiet Thursday night in January but the service and food were still good. We had the impressive Shack Stack (a sharing platter of crab, squid, mussels, prawns, oysters, scallops, fries & sweet chilli dip) as well as a scallop dish and fish dish of the day. All were well presented and cooked. Tasty seafood and cocktails - bliss!
