Went for Sunday lunch today and it was bleddy delicious - would thoroughly recommend - is also dog friendly in the bar part - we booked a table to avoid disappointment - beer good too and prosecco on draft - staff lovely - and agree with the pub's statement that this is a ' proper ' homemade sunday lunch :)

Fed up with cooking over Christmas, eight of us went to The Boatyard. Not having been there before, it was a case of potluck. It was excellent. Very few starters, but the chef knocked up some garlic bread to go with the calamari. Both were very good and shared. Calamari not at all rubbery, but fresh and easy to eat,... More

The food is less than average and certainly over priced. My burger is one of the driest I've ever had. The awful 70s Musak was so loud that the staff miss hear the order and serve my 12 year old with a 28 day aged steak rather than the braised steak stew.

Dear Sir, One the error was realized,we apologised, rather than let us replace the meal you continued with your meal at a very late hour for children, the music was at an adult level for that time of night, you ate all of your meals, you were triple checked by myself the owner but you preferred the easy way to complain. When asked how would... Walked in to this quirky shaped pub and was instantly made to feel welcome. The landlord is a great character and knows his business. The food and ale are very good. We liked if that much we went back for the Sunday roast the next day which is great value but you do need to book. Our daughter who is... More

Called in the boathouse late Sunday afternoon looking for Sunday lunch, we hadn't booked and most tables had been reserved but the staff couldn't have been more helpful and managed to squeeze us in. I ordered the lamb and my partner ordered the beef. The lamb was delicious, so tender it just fell apart and when combined with the amazing... More

We ate here for the first time with friends. This is a very jolly pub and busy. Best to reserve a table. Excellent friendly service. The food is interesting and diverse.

Returned to the Boathouse after far too long a time. I wasn't disappointed we had a fabulous meal and the staff are efficient and friendly. As always a great selection of beers (and spirits!). We will be back soon!

We found this gem via TripAdvisor, so it was only fair to write a review of how good it was. In short, this was the best Sunday lunch I've ever had in a pub. With great beer. In a stunning setting. With a jaw-dropping panoramic view of Falmouth bay. With friendly, efficient service. And great atmosphere. If you get the... More

We're lucky enough to have this gem of a pub pretty much on our doorstep. Nick is a great landlord, very welcoming and he was even good enough to show the Great British Bake Off final for a small group of us after I requested it! What a star. Really well kept beers, great spot for a pint of Skinners... More

Beautiful place tucked away at the top of Falmouth town, it has amazing views and great food. We had belly pork and all the trimmings and it was lovely.
