Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a late lunch and a few drinks at Pandora Inn after a long walk along the coast. The pub was very nicely decorated with christmas lights. We ordered the fish and chips and a tuna sandwich, which were both very feeling and tasty....The pub was pretty empty at the time of our visit, but I wouldn't be surprised if it got busy at night as it is a very chill and lovely place. We will certainly come again!More

Stopped for lunch on the way back from a shopping trip to Falmouth. Not sure where you would park in the Summer but in November there was space. Smart pub with some lovely items on the menu. Four of the six of us had the...fish pie which was excellent. Nice atmosphere and my friends tell me it was a decent pint and Tarquins gins went down well. Well with a try.More

Idyllic location, good food, friendly atmosphere and staff. No better location on a hot summer's day although parking can be a bit limited at busy times . Wheelchair and dog friendly.

A favourite local restaurant that never disappoints. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they always do everything they can to accommodate our wishes. The food as usual was spot on. Highly recommended

We booked as a couple during a recent stay in Falmouth. The pub had come recommended by a friend of mine. We visited on a Monday night. The choices on the menu were good and imaginative without being over the top. I did think the...service was a bit disjointed. I ordered pea and ham soup, for instance, and they forgot the ham. It wasn’t through any lack of effort. I just don’t think they had enough staff on that particular evening. I’d like to try the Pandora Inn again during the summer months when we could eat outside. It was pitch black when we visited but from what I could see the seating outside looks magnificent.More

We booked a table for a family meal out, there is nothing to dislike and everything to love about Pandora Inn, the delightful waterfront Inn and its pontoon is just so lovely. Our meal was fantastic and the staff were very attentive without being overbearing....They were very accommodating to our children, and nothing we asked for was an issue. For a family meal out 10 out of 10!More

On arriving the bar maid wasn't particularly welcoming, just sort of nodded her head backwards to say 'what do you want'. Not very inviting! We ordered drinks and sat outside for a bit as we were early before heading in for our booked table time....She just pointed to a corner and that's where we sat...lol! Food.....terrible, battered fish was dry and horrible, my Niece's scampi was from frozen, the same rubbish you get from Iceland...to pay +£20 you would expect fresh, (perhaps watch a few episodes of Gordon Ramseys kitchen nightmares). The best bit was what I assume was the bar manager....leaning on the bar with his elbow tapping the screen with his knuckle for extra coolness, what a joke.....and when I went to pay he just quoted the amount, no 'how was your meal', 'thanks for coming, 'hope to see you again'. Well luckily for him, he won't as we won't be back. We're local and have been several times but sadly never again. The Pandora is a beautiful setting and is extremely busy due to its location, however put this pub somewhere less scenic without the trade of holiday makers and it would struggle if it was the food and staff that it were to be judged on. Oh and your benches outside are rotten, running off reputetation..... Cheers and gone......More
