Sea Kitchen provided us with a sumptuous meal that looked good & tasted great - highly, HIGHLY recommend. After a hard days walking, we wanted a simple but tasty evening meal without any fuss or bother. We booked last minute & received a warm welcome...on arrival. The layout & decor is simple with our table offering good views over the bay as we watched sail boats bring out through their paces. We ordered Hake as market fish option of the day & crab salad. Both arrived in good time & beautifully presented. Both dishes tasted wonderful melding well with the accompanying sauces & accompaniments. It was reasonably priced & great value for money. We left a good tip such was the quality. I highly recommend this place, and I’m usually very difficult to please!More

We had planned to visit the Sea Market for lunch as it was a lovely day and it advertised a lovely view with tables outside. We walked up the hill at 2pm,.to find it was closed, even though online it stated it would be open...on a Thusday 1200 - 1500 for lunch. Very dissappiointed! Not the best way to run a business surely!More

What a gem of a restaurant! Fabulous decor, fabulous sea views……. but most of all fabulous food! We had delicious expertly presented starters and main dishes ……. the mussels were among the best ever tasted & our fish dishes were cooked to perfection…..all served by...friendly professional staff. If you love fish (think there were two meat alternatives) book a table….. you won’t be disappointed!More

Everything from the staff to the atmosphere & most importantly the food was amazing. Not to mention the stunning view. One of the best, if not THE best restaurants in Looe!

This is a superb restaurant in a fantastic location but the food is the star of the show. This was the second time we have eaten here and will be going back again and again.

First time in Looe and so glad we found this restaurant. Izzy, the owner, was so helpful and attentive. We visited a few times whilst on holiday. On our last evening we had a table overlooking the sea with lovely ambient music in the background....Matt, the chef, is a true professional. His food and presentation is superb. The menu is not extensive which is a nice change as it is more about the quality than quantity of choices, but that does not mean you get short helpings,… far from it. We wanted to try the desserts but couldn’t manage them. What is also appealing is the catch of the day dishes as it is always different and a nice surprise. We cannot wait to come back and every time we stay in Looe we will always eat here. Thank youMore

We had an excellent dinner on Saturday evening, so good in fact that, on the spur of the moment the following night we turned up late not having booked and were made most welcome as well as enjoying an equally delightful meal.

Half of the interesting dishes were not available, waitress felt mechanical when she realised that she didn't have most of the food that I requested. Such a shame because it's an amazing venue with great potential. To be fair the scallops were nice.

I really like this place. We last came here last a year to the day. It’s quirky and you need to accept that they work with fresh ingredients (which some times run out!), but in my eyes that just makes it more special. Tonight I...came with my wife. We both had the crab salad to start. Really generous with lots of white crab and a delicious brioche with brown crab butter. Delicious. I then had a crab linguine (they’d run out of clams!) and my wife had mussels with an exceptionally delicious confit garlic sauce. Really, really nice. Finished off with two quirky (and cheap desserts) and a warm brandy. Add in a really nice bottle of wine and the total bill was less than £100. For the quality of the food, and with prices as they are now generally, I think that is an absolute bargain. We had dinner at the Fish Market last night (which was also superb) but that was an extra £60. Was it worth the difference? I am a massive fan of the Fish Market and it has a great atmosphere, but I think this quirky place is a very close competitor. Anyway, give it a try. PS for the person who visited 4 days ago and complained of being cold, - we weren’t cold (!) but we were offered blankets just in case!More

Visited with family at 6.15 in evening . Restaurant was cold . My mother in law had to sit with her coat on. We ordered scallops…. No scallops We ordered mushrooms… No mushrooms We ordered crab salad…. No crab What they did give in fairness...was ok but not what we wanted or looking forward to. We won’t return as our memories are of a cold restaurant with limited menu and unprofessional to have run out of so many items by 6.15More
