Perched right on the beach front this is the ideal spot for both a leisurely drink or a lovely meal. The restaurant is very relaxed and dog friendly, all the staff are efficient and welcoming. The menu isn't huge but there is something for everyone...More

The hut has undergone a subtle makeover since we were there 18 months ago and is lovely. We went for a drink one evening and sat outside watching the surfers. The tide was in and it was a glorious evening. We also ate there as...More

Nice spot for a breakfast treat. Pancakes were great and the hot chocolate was perfect for a post-surf pick me up. Not the cheapest but a good place

Great location looking out across the bay, the staff were really friendly and the moules/frites with a glass of Picpoul wine were delicious. The mussels were very large. Couldn't fault our meal.

This place has a sick location but is ran so bad. Very expensive and the food was poor. Chicken burger had no taste, desserts were good to be fair. If you want a good cheap pint avoid everywhere in watergate

Very nice views, but the food was incredibly overpriced. I ordered a chicken burger , which consisted of what I describe as wafer thin chicken, and what probably weighed around 20grams in total all for £14 Service was standard but they really need to improve...More

The Beach Hut is well known as one of Cornwall's best beach-side hang-outs. Right on the sand at Watergate Bay, it's an easy, relaxed restaurant serving seasonal food amongst the hustle of beach life. Open for breakfast, Sunday brunch, lunch and dinner, the menu is classic. The views are fantastic. Rarely quiet, The Beach Hut is a vibrant venue where the buzz of conversation rivals the sound of the sea. Cornish fish will always be on the daily specials board and the menu is focused around steaks, burgers and shellfish with an emphasis on local, seasonal produce. Try the grilled Cornish rib-eye steak, the pulled pork sandwich or perhaps the Sri Lanka mussels with a side of sweet potato fries and chilli sea salt.
