Visited on a Friday night with family. We booked a table which is just as well. I doubt we would have been able to just walk in. Really slow service to begin with – took an age to get some menus and drinks. OK, it...was very busy but they need to work a little harder to at least give people something to drink while they are waiting! Things settled down a bit after that – service was more attentive and the food was served in good time – no real delays with the kitchen The food was delicious. Macaroni Cheese Balls to start; Rack of Ribs and Mussels for mains – the ribs melted in the mouth! Would definitely return but the service needs to improve a little! I’d still recommend as the atmosphere and food were excellent - oh, and the moonshine is superb!!More

The manager decided to interrupt our dinner to tell me he didn’t approve of my parenting style! Disgraceful & absolutely uncalled for. Would avoid like the plague if you have children! Caitlin was absolutely lovely & so professional & mature, I feel for her having...to work for such a vile man!More

My partner and I came here as it was dog friendly. Everyone made a fuss of the dog and was overall a very welcoming environment. Our waitress Megan was brilliant, making sure we had everything we needed/wanted and even wrote down some places to visit...on our holiday here, which we done! 😊 The food was exceptional, high quality and cooked to perfection and the cocktails were fun and quirky. Loki had his own patty, cut up ready for him. Would really recommend coming here, we had a fantastic night!More

Food was great. I had the belly pork, we also had some wings which were epic. The staff were friendly, prompt and very helpful. We'll be going back.

Friendly staff, great food and cocktails. The best dirty nachos we have ever had ! Can definitely recommend the Raspberritini and Spriggon Sling cocktails. So good we went back twice. Good value for money.

Visited in September with my partner, our dog and friends. We have visited before and happily returned. We had been staying in Newquay for a week as a mini get away and visited most nights for cocktails, they are next level! Returned with friends to...eat on our last night knowing that it wouldn’t disappoint. Mussels starter was class, super tasty. Mains were well received by all, our friends were incredibly impressed with the brisket and pork. The wine selections suited our needs perfectly and the moonshine goes down incredibly well. If you’re in the area I couldn’t recommend this roast house any more, great quality, great service and tones of delicious options to choose from. We arrived without booking and were seated straight away , our server took our drinks order and they arrived shortly after ,as for food my wife had pork belly myself the brisket both were amazing We couldn't fault anything including the price We will return...So thank you for a wonderful nightMore

We turned up on spec and had a fantastic meal here. The beef brisket was amazing and there was loads of chicken on the ceaser salad. Staffing seemed to be tight but what a great meal.

Ordered 2 drinks at the bar… for some reason they can’t just pour them there and then… 20 mins sat outside waiting.. ordered another 2 and same again .. not very good so won’t be bothered about going back

Arrived slightly late and were showed to a high rise table by the bar by our server. He was attentive and polite. Menu was good with plenty of choice. Food arrived well presented, hot and plenty of it. Overall, clean restaurant, good choice of food,...reasonably priced and great quality.More

On the 18/09/2023, I (a female) booked a reservation for one at 18:15 at Rebellion. I arrived at 17:55 and there was no member of staff at the front by the Post to welcome guests. Hence, I went to the bar and told Bar Man...A that I have booked a table for 6:15pm. Bar Man A told me to go back and wait at the front by the Post for a member of staff to come, which I did do. 4 people arrived after me and queued up behind me. Then after some time a member of staff came to the front Post (I shall call him Staff B). Staff B took me through to the back and showed me to a table just in front of a table of 8 people. I asked if I could sit at another table. Staff B said, “No. The tables are all booked.” I did not understand Staff B reasoning because the table where I wanted to sit had 2 chairs just like mine – and was exactly the same size and shape, as the table I was sitting at. So, I couldn’t understand what difference would it make if I sat at that table. I did not say anything and sat at the table where Staff B placed me. Then, staff B showed the 4 people who were queuing behind me to the table in front of me. So now, I am sandwich in between a group of 8 people behind me and a group of 4 people in front me. The time is now 18:25 and nobody have approached me to take my order. The group of 8 people have their meals brought to them. Then Bar Man A (the man who knew I have been waiting for a long time) went to the group of 4 people (the ones who came in after me) and took their order and walked off. I sat for a while in disbelief at what had just happened. Something felt off. Something was not right and I was feeling very uncomfortable with the whole situation. The time is now 18:35 and still nobody has approached me to take my order – so I packed up my things and left. As I was walking out the restaurant, Bar Man A looked at me from behind the bar and Staff B looked at my face as he walked past me and said nothing. Other restaurant would have asked, “Are you all right Madame [or words to that effect]”. Was I being discriminated against – I shall leave it to the reader to decide. I have eaten in many restaurants and café around the world and have never experienced anything like this or made to feel uncomfortable.More

Popped in for some lunch and a drink as the outside looked really nice,inside definitely didn’t disappoint,really nice design and comfortable seating,we had some sharing plates and a drink and it was all really good
