Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very well located in the town. I went there with my family (2 adults, 2 children) and we loved it. Best vanilla soya latte, lovely and healthy brunch with very good gluten free options. Very clean place and staff wonderful. Super recommend and will come...back next time!More

Delicious food, great vibe, lush staff, nice spot and amazing coffee. I went back 2 days in a row for breakfast (which I never do) whilst in Newquay for a couple of days staying over by Fistral Beach. First day I had the ‘Healthy’ and...the 2nd, the ‘Shrooms’, both were even better than I expected, the flavours were really nicely put together. And the toast… the toast was perfect. Never thought I’d specifically call out toast!More

After doing a little bit of research, I came here for breakfast with a few friends. I didn't book and was thankful that we could get a table for three. The drinks were priced fairly, with a flat white and a couple of lattes ordered....The food was fantastic - really good quality - with scrambled eggs with salmon and avocado ordered. it looked and tasted fantastic and was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Downstairs is a small room but there was a lovely atmosphere, with friendly, attentive staff. The perfect spot to start a day in Newquay and would definitely go back.More

We have visited many times on holiday 3-4 times a year here . Great little place with friendly owner who is always rushing in and out in his black Mac One tiny side note Pancakes nice for kids (however…. sorry ….not the best in Newquay...- go to one in rocks on firstal for fluffy thick ones!) Fabulous gluten free sausages and lots of unusual breakfast options (I mean apart from the normal) all freshly cooked . Shakshouka is lovely so much flavour as is mushrooms on roast with lovely sauceMore

Tried to find somewhere for brunch online and came across something that i wanted, not a mainstream place, something local. Advertised online as cafe Blu, but found this on location. Menu was very good for breakfast, variety of choice of food and drink, small seating...area, ideal for non peak, would be crazy in the summer. Food was great taste and portion size. Upstairs seating available. Had to wait a while for my food as only 1 chef but genuinely worth the wait. Off peak would highly recommend.More

Very busy cafe with space upstairs, so make sure you ask if they have any tables available. The service was outstanding; friendly, attentive and helpful. We had a wonderful late breakfast/brunch, ordering several different dishes - which were all outstanding. Granola bowl was full to...the brim with delicious fruit, yogurt and granola. Super pretty too. The shakshouka was a special and was rich and delicious. Bacon ciabatta, egg and bacon ciabatta, full breakfast all incredible! Love the haggis addition! Reliably informed that the pancakes with banana and chocolate was ‘yummy’. The options will suit old and young, and they can accommodate dietary requirements.More

We booked in advance and had a friendly welcome at 9.30 a.m. and a table by the window. The cooked breakfast choices ranged from full English at £13 to vegan (my choice, also £13) and many options in between. The service was a little slow...but we weren't in a hurry and it somehow seemed right to be laid back about things. There were lots of people arriving to fill the tables downstairs and upstairs. Customers ranged in age from 20s to over 60s. The food was excellent, very wholesome, worth waiting for. It was lovely to be seated near to a woodburning stove.More

Fore breakfast perfect for hungry hollow-legged teenage boy: bacon, sausage, shredded haggis, pumped-up beans and great sourdough with perfect poached eggs.
