We came here while on our holiday in watergate bay. We booked a table on a Monday evening with our little dog. Service was great and food was excellent, would definitely recommend.

Excellent food & service. We arrived late but were made to feel very welcome. Super dog friendly. We all had different mains which were lovely, the chips are to die for. Will definitely call in again.

Was advised to book especially for Sunday Lunch. But what a lovely little pub, very traditional and dog friendly. Served a massive beef and pork dinner with all the trimmings, lovely! Add a pudding and it was very reasonably priced. Would deffo recommend and would...go back again.More

This is exactly what you want from a pub. Good, hearty food at a reasonable price and decent beer. Our room was lovely and spacious, with plenty of storage space (something that many places overlook), plenty of towels, and just well appointed throughout. The staff...were lovely and always helpful. Overall this was a great experience and good value!More

Great food and friendly staff. Between us we tried the vegetable lasagne with garlic ciabatta, chunky chips, and halloumi sticks. All of the food was delicious - portions come up large. For vegetarians they also have a mushroom burger, meatball pasta and salad.

We have eaten here every night of our Holiday and it has been excellent food served hot and brilliant service every night.Even one night when only one chef on.The last person who rated it one and said avoid like the plague is talking utter nonsense!!!!!!...Fair enough if you had a bad meal but that's going a bit far that.Stupid woman.More

Booked in at 7.30 pm for evening dinner, we arrived on time and was pointed out a table which had not been adequately cleaned, there were spiders amongst the menus, not a good start! The food was ordered within 5 mins of arrival we was...still waiting for the meals to arrive for over one hour. Oh dear, amongst the five meals ordered only the garlic mushrooms were edible, the gammon was dirty and cold the home cooked offerings were frozen varieties, scampi was not cooked through and the lasagna appeared to have been microwaved several times. Upon waiting in line to complain we were told there was nobody in authority who could handle our complaints, I would advise any potential customers to avoid like the plague or they most likely may catch it.More

Lovely little pub. Great food however took ages to order. Portions were huge. We all struggled to finish. Would definitely recommend.

As soon as we arrived, it was a happy, friendly atmosphere, clean, tidy and welcoming. It was my husbands birthday and he really wanted a mixed grill, it wasn’t on the menu, but I asked and they were very obliging. We shared a starter, the...stilton and garlic mushrooms, absolutely gorgeous. Then came the mixed grill and my chicken platter, both were fabulous. Cooked just right and presented well, nothing could be faulted. No room for a sweet, but I wanted to take one home for later, again very accommodating to our request. Would definitely recommend and visit again.More
