Brilliant - beautiful place to come and chill - especially on a summers day/evening. Really lovely and friendly staff who are welcoming and very helpful. We enjoyed visiting yesterday afternoon and will be back again.

The service was friendly and the views/ambiance lovely. The food is pricey but delicious. However, very disappointed when told that they do not accept cash. This is an unjustified hangover from covid and is inexcusable now. The policy excludes people who cannot use cards or...who prefer to use cash, adds to costs due to fees and also removes anonymity, making all transactions subject to tracking and analysis. This should be reversed.More

Our first visit for food this holiday. We had panini at lunchtime and evening meal (not all on the same day) service was good and food was delicious! You could eat at the designated seating or even on the beach! The building is beautifully decorated...and has a fantastic view across the bay towards the Atlantic hotel. The only thing letting this place down? The fact that the only toilets are the public ones on the beach and they are not the cleanest, have no toilet paper or sinks and are fairly smelly. (They haven’t always been like this and used to be immaculate)More

Having visited a few years ago, I was eager to bring my family here when we came back to Newquay. WOW! The menu is small, but there is an option for everyone (cheese burger, fish burger, falafel burger and halloumi burger, then tacos and sides)...and you definitely can’t miss out on the halloumi fries! Hands down the best burger and best halloumi fries I’ve ever had!! Couldn’t recommend enough!More

We were recommended this place by a family member, but when we arrived we thought it was the pub at the top initially. We walked down and found this little hidden gem and were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly the food was fresh...and so tasty with gorgeous views and the sun on our faces. I cannot recommend this enough. I had the Mexican Buddha bowl and only wished we’d discovered it at the start of our trip! We will 100% be back, we loved it.More

A beautiful beach cafe nestled into the cliff just above the sands. We were given a warm welcome and shown to a table with the most fabulous view. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. The service was attentive but with the space for you...to look at the menu, take some photos and soak in the space without feeling rushed. The food was fresh, local and tasty. Would highly recommend the beef tacos, falafel Buddha bowl and nachos. A wonderful meal to kick off our cornish adventure - it's going to be hard to beat!More

His great little find is on the slope going down to the beach. Unless you have been to the beach you may not know it is there as there is a little signage from the top. An excellent menu, friendly staff and great service and...the food tasted fantastic. Topped with a view over the beach and watching the sun set this made the perfect end to the day.More

First time in Newquay since a child and on our first foray out (me and 17/20 year old kids) we were a bit dispirited by the high street. However turning the corner towards Great Western beach with the beautiful views of the bay and coastline...beyond instantly lifted our spirits. I’d found it really difficult to book restaurants in Newquay even a week in advance - I guess the combined impact of staycations and Covid. So v relieved to get a table anywhere. And this certainly didn’t disappoint. The fabulous views continued inside, the service was super-friendly and the food (house burger for me and one of several vegan options for my daughter) was delicious. Shame they didn’t do coffee or puddings, but otherwise no complaints and would certainly be back if visiting Newquay again.More
