Visited here for lunch on a number of occasion due to the closeness to where I was staying. The sandwiches and cream teas are great and there is a good selection. On a sunny day the location is great with views of the beach and the gannel.

We made regular visits here climbing up the steps and crossing the little wooden platform over Crantock beach/river. The seating areas and benches have views to die for looking right over the beach, We ate ice creams, had cream teas and coffees, all great!

Although we’d been to Crantock many times, we’d never made the climb up the hill to this cafeteria from the beach below…and we’d certainly been missing out. The cafe is on the East Pentire Headland (which is the Newquay side of the beach) and can only be accessed from Crantock beach by crossing over the Gannel estuary. At low tide... More

Numerous times while been in Newquay we have walked past this cafe but after talking to a friend before arriving in Newquay he told me they do very good crab. Aswell as cornish pasties and cider you've got to have a crab buttie, and this cafe didn't disappoint. I Liked the fact that you could choose grannery bread and there... More

This is my first review of less than 3 stars, because I'm a glass is half full sort of person usually. This cafe has a lot going for it, overlooking the Gannell river and Crantock Beach, it truly is a stunning location with fabulous views. We stayed a few doors down from this cafe and last year missed it being... More

My husband, myself and our 2 dogs were staying on the Pentire Headland. One beautiful day, we walked our dogs down the steps passed the café to cross the river to Crantock beach. On the way back up, I suggested lunch here. Hubbie wasn't so sure as it was busy. However, we found a table overlooking the river and enjoyed... More

What a gem of a place! Fresh Cornish crab and Lobster (lobster has to be ordered 2 hours in advance) up on the cliff top over looking the Gannel estuary and the whole of Crantock beach. The food is fab, we both had a crab salad which came to less the 25 quid for the both of us. There was... More

Freshest sandwiches and best views also. this place is where locals go to eat, when the sun is shining the outside seating is a sun trap. Good access to Crantock in summer months also

Great place to sit and enjoy a lovely crab sandwich, or cream tea, while looking out over Crantock beach, a real gem of a place, highly recommend.
