Rick Stein

Ratings and reviews

Location and contact

Rick Stein's restaurant in Fistral, Newquay, is casual and laid-back serving Rick's famous fish & chips as well as Indian takeaway with dishes inspired by Rick's travels including Goan chicken curry, lamb karahi, pad Thai noodles, nasi goreng and vegetable makhanawala. Cod, haddock and lemon sole all feature as well as fish chilli burgers and Rick's famous homemade tartare sauce, aioli and authentic curry sauce. Overlooking the iconic Fistral beach, this has to be one of the best places to eat in Newquay whilst soaking up the sun and enjoying the Cornish coast.

Over priced food, poor quality. This hasn’t been the first time we’ve experienced issues. Gave the benefit of the doubt and tried again.... Big Mistake Sadly won’t be returning.

We have eaten at Rick’s Fistral for many years and have always enjoyed the curry selection. However there was one noticeable difference on this visit - the portion size of our Goan Chicken Curry. The meal appeared to take up only half the container and...More

Popped in on a very windy day just for a coffee. The food passing us to other tables looked very good and we will definitely try it on our next visit.

Treated to dinner by my lovely mum. Firstly, the restaurant was beautifully decorated - understated and welcoming. The food was fabulous - the smoked salmon was divine and the ray wing superb and 'meaty'. Attentive staff made sure we were well looked after without being...More
