We came to this place 5 years ago on our holiday and had fond memories of some wonderful seafood and great cooking. We returned this week and were equally pleased with what we found. The menu is smaller, but the quality of produce and cooking skills make this a really great place to eat in Penzance. A great place for... More

We stumbled into this pub on Easter weekend, driven by hunger and lack of surrounding options. The decor and atmosphere is unassuming, though there are plenty of antiquities on the wall to occupy time. The prices on the menu may seem too expensive for standard pub food, but once you've had your meal you will almost think they are far... More

Sports pub, locals, even if you don't like sport still worth going in for the food. Had the fish n chips for lunch, real fresh, & proper chips not out a freezer bag! All other food looked good too.

We were warmly welcomed to this local pub, which is just off the promenade. We ordered the Friday night special - 2 rump steaks, with all the trimmings and a bottle of wine - all for £30. The steak was beautifully cooked, just as we liked it - medium rare. The meat was from a St Just butcher - a... More

A wonderful pub, such friendly staff and the roast beef was cooked to perfection and presented so well, more than you expect from a pub. Also the whole place was spotlessly clean. A must visit, we will most certainly be returning to also try out the rest of the menu.

We ate at the Navy Inn twice during our stay in Penzance. Both meals were very good. Fresh seafood and tradition Cornish cooking. Service was great and friendly.

An unexpected treat - we walked past almost everyday, saw the menu and decided to go. Short menu but lovely food and great atmosphere.

Having avoided a hail storm, and only battling rain and wind we walked the short distance from our holiday let the Navy Inn. Limited menu, but very high quality, both had Cornish mussels to start, hubby had fresh grilled pollack, I had topside of beef, flavoursome and excellent. We weren't weren't rushed at all £70 including beer and a bottle... More

Went here with my girlfriend for something to eat based on recommendation of the guest house owner. What a lovely little pub/restaurant. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the foood was amazing. Pickled mackerel was delicious and so was the monkfish. Good selection of spirits and beers.
