It says a lot about a place when the locals recommend it. In my case my AirBnB host said it was one of the best places in town. And she wasn't wrong!
It is an old pub. Very old. But it all adds to the...More
Called in whilst visiting Penzance for lunch. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Beer was good, well looked after. We both had starters which were both very well done. Main course I had the gammon which was well prepared but a bit on the small side....More
We visited the Turks Head following a recommendation.
The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the food was very good. The Pub has a good offering of cask ales and a long standing good reputation.

Wonderful ambience, great food, service with a smile all in a beautiful setting. The pub has a family feel. It's a real old world pub with a fantastic beer garden out the back. I recommend the Offshore lager. We'll be back to visit again for...More

We have been to the Turks Head a few times now and always try to book in when we come and stay down in Cornwall! It is always the same - perfect! The staff are so friendly and attentive, the pub is very warm and...More
