Dropped in for lunch while visiting Penzance. Had a really good meal....well cooked and attentively served. The lamb was tender and the lasagne was a winner. Recommend a visit.

Excellent food, decent ales, lovely wait staff... There is a wonderful simplicity to the food: great ingredients, solid flavours, beautifully cooked. The chef clearly loves his craft. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal

Had a veggie lunch at this very old pub. It was a really nice experience - food was excellent, and the service friendly and very pleasant. Fantastic desserts. Recommended.

This really is a great all rounder pub, the food and atmosphere great and the staff always friendly and helpful even on a very busy Christmas eve. I would definitely recommend this for food, drink and atmosphere.
