Was on a shopping trip to Penzance when we dropped into the Pirate for a meal. Was pleasantly surprised by the service and quality of the food served. Will be back soon.

Best fish and chips in town, especially the fish that is always cooked to order batter ís crispy, and the flesh is chunky unlike so many others where the fish is so thin you can only taste the batter!!

Another amazing visit. Used to visit here regularly when I was local, but now returning while visiting, it’s still amazing. The service is always given with a smile and the fish and chips are faultless. Another super sized piece of haddock as always and have...More

I visited here for takeaway fish and chips this week, and had the best yet! The fish had a crisp light batter and just fell apart, perfectly cooked. The chips are fresh potatoes and delicious. The staff are friendly, polite and welcoming.

My favourite fish and chip shop in the area by a country mile. We go back year after year, I heartily recommend it.

Disappointing! Fish was over battered and overcooked . Baked potato was just OK. Nothing Special. ......

Sorry, I'm afraid I can't help - we were staying at a nearby hotel and had come without our car. It's in a side street off the promenade, so I imagine parking in the evening is not too bad.
