Apologies a bit late on this review (personal circs) but visited Cornwall on the last of lockdown (me and half the UK) having suffered many a dodgy Weatherspoons breakfast for price - this is a gem. Great offerings for breakfast with great views (weather permitting)...at very reasonable prices for the location. AGAIN BIG SERVINGS! Did wonder why I was given a broom - until I saw the Gulls circling then I knew. Price wise very competitive and it became our go to. Would visit again.More

Good value, generous portions and friendly staff... add the harbour side location, what’s not to like. Recommended breakfast

A return visit to the lovely harbourside cafe to meet family for lunch. We had lattes to drink, and to eat a ham salad and a breakfast. The welcome was warm as always, the service was great and the the meals delicious, nicely presented and...freshly prepared to order. Brilliant value and excellent quality. Thank you to all the staff that make each visit special.More

On the roadside & within the harbour area. Although the outdoor seating is adjacent to the road as the speed limit is 20mph any traffic noise isn't really an issue. Staff wear masks & inside was spotless. Outside is a temporary seating area & welcomed...the day we visited. Menus are on the hanging boards inside so recommend you either choose before sitting or take photos of the board's if you're not aware of the menu. Menu is simple lunch choices but portions are generous. Although only 3 were working, service is efficient & food arrived within an acceptable time. Between the four of us we ordered, 2 sandwiches, a ploughman's & cheesy chips. These sandwiches are huge & "doorstep style" with plenty of filling. I had the ploughman's, sadly no photo but it was a huge amount. Bread is bakery style not processed which is always a bonus. Incredible value for money & highly recommend..More

We visited while having a long weekend in west Cornwall. The food and drinks were all very nice and couldn’t be faulted. However the service and atmosphere was not at all good. Clearly there were arguments going on which involved the staff working. The language...was foul and not pleasant to hear in a family establishment. It lacks control. Not a place to recommend.More

This was the first cafe I’d been to since the beginning of lockdown. The woman who works there was beyond rude. The food was poor. No cutlery, we had to ask multiple times to get some. The full English listing said ‘tomatoes’ but none were...on my plate. I asked for some. 20 minutes later a microwaved tomato was thrown down by the grumpy woman, I’m sure the plate slid towards me. The mushrooms were swimming in water and oil disgusting. 🤮🤮🤮 Yuk. This place really lets Penzance down.More
