5 of us ate here food for lunch, it was a lovely day weather wise and we were able to sit outside. The wonderful food was very well presented , we all had different dishes and all declared them delicious . The service was very good and safety conscious, the tables were well spaced out and cleaning was evident. Excellent meal.

In a great setting in gardens featuring sculptures and views to St Michael's Mount this small restaurant offers some tasty food. We both went for the crab rarebit on granary with a terrific thoughtful salad. We added on a must, a tiny bucket of handcut fries. The crab got a bit lost in the rarebit but overall it was good flavour and value for money serving. Really popular so you must book. Plenty of parking. Great place to have lunch if you are visiting nearby Penzance.

Visited here for their roast in a box as we were staying nearby. Luckily the weather was good and we were able to find an outdoor table straight away. The food is ordered and delivered on a takeaway basis and you are welcome to eat using their tables or on the lawn. The sculpture park makes for an amazing setting and the food was top rate. Served in a large takeaway container it consisted of large portions of meat(pork or beef) roast potatoes Yorkshire red cabbage spring greens cauliflower cheese caramelised carrot and pumpkin purée. Accompanied by stuffing apple and horseradish sauces and gravy. The quality and cooking were first class and I highly recommend a visit

The service we received at this overpriced restaurant was nothing short of shocking today. Slovenly rude service with no apology. We went for a tea and cake treat before having a walk. The cake arrived first and after two enquiries eventually the tea arrived by which time we'd eaten the cake! It was a good 15 minute wait for a pot of pretty ordinary tea. Why it couldn't come together is a mystery. There is no excuse for poor standards . Also on enquiring if there were any scones available , there weren't as apparently they have to be on a specials list . Honestly this is Cornwall, land of a cream tea or just a plain scone would be fine. Paying was a laborious business too and the total was an extortionate amount for average tea for 2 and 2 very average pieces of cake which we could have made better at over £ 13 ! We won't be coming back and will share our poor experience with our local friends warning them not to visit .

Our famiy just enjoyed a delicious, well presented and generous Sunday roast at Tremenheere Kitchen. Everything was so well organised - quick efficient service and lots of space to spread out on the grass and for children to play. Brilliant!

Amazing food! We visited here three times whilst we were on holiday as we were staying nearby and for some reason it wasn’t that busy even though the rest of Cornwall was swarming. The breakfasts were absolutely brilliant both days, genuinely the best breakfast I’ve ever had, especially the mushrooms on sourdough. The only thing that let the side down was that I think they need another coffee machine as coffees are very slow to arrive. The last time we went they came after we’d finished our food but the staff were great, apologetic and knocked them off the bill. The gardens are lovely and cream teas at the hut also really nice.

We visit this restaurant regularly but this recent Sunday Lunch was just the best. The roast beef came thinly sliced and ready plated with a generous portion of roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, cauliflower cheese, curly kale, carrot, swede mash and parsnip curls along with gravy. sadly too large a portion to have space for a pudding. As usual the staff were attentive and friendly. It felt covid safe with an outdoor enclosed seated area with heating. Hot water bottles were available for the unenclosed outside area. The view was not visible with the stormy weather.

With our 2 year old granddaughter and family we received a warm welcome. The drinks and tasty food arrived swiftly (always good with a hungry tot). The scones were divine, like my own home made ones... they didn’t stick to the roof of the mouth! Lovely, thanks.

This review is not about the gardens, it's about the food. My wife and I live locally and have visited several times. On the whole we have had pleasant eating extperiences here, but not on this occasion. I ordered the pulled pork taco and it was simply awful. It was a tray of taco crisps on top of which was dumped a heap of what was originally probably quite tasty pulled pork, on top of which was scattered some jalapeno chillies and olives and a dollop of cream. It was obvious that this was frozen and had been microwaved. When it arrived the outside was warm but the inside was cold. It was truly and simply awful, a mushy, microwaved mess for which I was charged £9.50. If this is what Tremenheere kitchens have come to then I fear for their future and we will not return there to eat.

We visited as a family of four. The staff were lovely with our children, I ordered the cauliflower and chickpea burrito which was outstanding and easily the best meal I have had all holiday. My husband felt the menu was a little limited but you do have to appreciate that it is not the biggest restaurant in the world. Colouring pencils and colouring in sheets and child appropriate cutlery and crockery were provided.

Good tea and coffee, friendly and flexible service meant I could have lovely scrambled eggs with smoked salmon although not on the menu. Party of eight seated indoors without trouble. We all enjoyed ourselves.

We've eaten in a lot of restaurants around Cornwall, and this is by far one of the best. Gorgeous setting outside with view of St Michael's Mount, plus indoor seating if raining. We are all vegetarians and the food was unbelievably good - we had the beetroot salad with thick polenta chips, tempura with asian slaw and the bulgar wheat salad. Everything was delicious! Service was excellent. Could not recommend more highly. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely adored this simple little set up in the perfect setting, offering anything but simple food. A stunning menu, even more so with the carefully crafted drinks selection, from which I chose a very pleasing Bloody Mary, but the Blackberry Gin with Lemon & Thyme was equally pleasing too. For food, I was boring and picked the fish and chips, but what arrived was far from boring. Perfectly light, crisp batter, chips that were beyond what I'd call chunky, and the crushed peas and tartare sauce were a perfect accompaniment. The Baked Beetroot and Polenta was one of the most imaginative vegetarian concoction I've seen in some time, and was executed with precision by a chef with an eye for the aesthetic. All in all, stellar staff, fantastic food and sumptuous scenery made for a holiday highlight.

A tidy step from the cornwall casa but a worthwhile go-to when we have guests visiting - never fails to provide tasty food at a decent cost. The environment is clean and welcoming. Outdoor seating if the weather is fine. Dog friendly [outdoors]. Staff are attentive and efficient, pleasant and welcoming.

We had a family Sunday lunch here which was excellent. The roasts (we tried the beef and pork) were amazing with tasty veg and gravy - really excellent value. Good, friendly service and some nice drinks options as well as lovely surroundings to wander around after lunch made for an overall excellent visit.
