We visited the blue peter a couple of times in the first weekend of December. This is a great little pub, it's really original and cosy and it's got a wide variety of drinks (including mulled wine in the winter). We didn't try the food but it looked good. The staff were really friendly. If you're in Polperro and fancy... More

A really good pub with great food and a good range of local ales and ciders. An open fire in the winter and rooftop garden in th summer. Plenty of room for dining over 2 floors (plus garden)

Lovely traditional harbour side pub. We popped in before the annual fireworks display and yes it was busy, the atmosphere terrific. Wonderful sea food and service.

Lovely pub especially on a cold winters night in January. Greeted by a lovely log fire in the bar to warm up by which added to the atmosphere and room for dining upstairs. Set in the picturesque town of Polperro you have to walk through the narrow streets filled with quaint old fishing cottages and quirky shops and past the... More

If you were to imagine your perfect image of a pub in a small fishing village, this is it. It's so perfect, it could be a cliche! Set right on the harbour, this pub has a wide selection of local beers and a brilliant chef - the local fish dishes are particularly worth trying. I hope you like it as... More

Came here after reading reviews on here and I wasn't disappointed. Had fish and chips, presented beautifully and really lovely and fresh. The only slight downside of the meal I have is I didn't like the tartae sauce that came with the meal but that is personal preference, nothing else. Would definitely come again

Old fashioned hostelry up some steep steps right by the sea. Friendly staff, dog friendly and had the merit of being open in January which is more than you could say for the rest of Polperro

A real pub with real people. Whether full or empty the atmosphere is good, as is the hospitality. And really good pub food. Fresh and sensibly priced. If it's too crowded then you left it too late to go in.

Thank Philip W
