Had cod and chips from here and it must be one of the worst ever. The chips were rubbish and the cod batter was soggy, greasey and inedible. Give it a wide berth.

Chips are bought in frozen, fish is also frozen and terrible. If you want fish and chips go to the old school house restaurant oppisite as they have a takeaway service. Fish and chips around £8.95 and well worth it.

I'm not a great fan of fried fish but I enjoyed the jumbo battered sausage and chips several times during my week-long stay in PI. Quick and friendly service, good prices. Would highly recommend!

We stayed overnight in Port Isaac for my wife's birthday, and it was a beautiful evening so we decided to grab some food (fish and chips for my wife, sausage and chips for me - both were fantastic and wereally MASSIVE! I'm a big fella who loves to eat, and even I couldn't finish it!) and have a look around... More

Tiny portions of fish, the two cods we ordered looked like one portion divided into two smallest battered sausage I have ever seen 'two' portions of chips ordered was actually just one slimy batter and some chips hard and expensive!! disappointed, will try other places as suggested

Had a great freshly cooked fish and chip meal from here, service was good and polite, cheesy chips were excellent as was the fish, and a short walk gices you a nice bench and view to enjoy your meal.

Omg how this place is still in business is beyond me. Called in at 7.45 for food and bloody hell what a terrible attitude this lady from Plymouth had. Could live with the attitude if the cod was good, but frozen chips and a poxy piece of cod for £7 + is a piss take. Does not care because they... More

The owner is just brilliant, had a great chat. Food really good too and well priced. The owner definitely made our day.

Good chips and very fresh fish. Excellent portions. Friendly service and very clean. (I never have chips from the takeaways where I live because their hygiene standards worry me). Definitely worth a visit.

Got food here without reading any reviews - but can see what other people mean. Food itself was OK, batter fairly crisp and light, chips reasonable and all freshly cooked - but portions tiny! Will never complain about our local chippy ever again (and they charge almost twice as much here!). Wouldn't recommend - we've since been told to try... More
