The cornish deli has amazing food, it's freshly prepared and great quality. We were so impressed with our take out lunches that we went back for brunch the next day and enjoyed it even more. Eat in prices are more than take out, but I...would expect that and had no issue with it. What we didn't like is that they then add on another 12.5% service charge; this is only notified by a small sign at the side of the bar and you don't get an itemised receipt that clearly shows what you are paying for. We love to support local businesses and cannot fault the food, but service charges should be included in the price and it should be up to the customer to decide if they want to tip.More

I had the sandwich of the day: 3 types of salami, balsamic tomatoes and cheese and it was amazing!!! I had fries with it and split them with my husband and it was more than enough for lunch. Very generous portions and great quality ingredients,...especially for the price. I could hear the fries being cooked from my seat and they had a lovely seasoning on them. Very friendly and knowledgeabke staff and it's just off the main route through St Ives where you can escape the hustle and bustle. We'll definitely be going again!More

Starters fine but one main course was not as advertised - new potatoes were actually deep fried and the dish was swimming in oil as though it had been decanted. After deliberation and our insistence the meal was refunded. Real shame

We ate here twice. Once for take out and once for a full English. The food was excellent. Two of the party have ceoliac disease, quite often, places state they do GF food. When questioned, they don't have a clue about cross contamination. The Cornish...Deli were all over this and were able to provide a full Coelic Friendly menu. It's worth a visit regardless of dietary constraints.More

Stumbled across this place by chance and our taste buds were delighted that we did! Delicious food (I had the gammon and C had the Veggie option), tasty coffee and great service, will definitely come back on our next visit.

We came here again as we loved it last year. The food is very good, especially the scallop starter and the sardine main course. The chips were a little over seasoned with paprika for my liking compared to last year, they weren’t hot enough but...that was rectified with a fresh bowl. The waitress was run ragged although she was pleasant and efficient they could do with some extra help considering they now add 12.5% to the bill. Just be aware when you book they take £5 pp to confirm the booking which is supposed to be deducted from your bill however ours wasn’t and we had to query this with the waitress she did return the £5pp after, however it’s not ideal and easily missed as you don’t get a breakdown on a receipt, we’re hoping they resolve this pre payment issue soon as it tainted the end of the meal for us. We would return if we come back to St Ives as the food is very good and it’s a cute little restaurant!More

Found this place after a quick google for good gluten free options. What a FABULOUS find! Lovely set up, friendly service and food utterly superb. Always a struggle to find good gluten free options and this place is so good we did lunch twice in...a week! Seafood specials were exceptional. Cannot recommend enough!More

Amazing food - really delicious and flavours you could not recreate at home. Lovely staff and a real hidden gem in St Ives, they were also lovely with our two children - who loved their breakfasts!

I booked a table here based on Trip Advisor reviews I had read of restaurants in the area. It is very small & in the back streets but did not disappoint. The seafood was amazing, the local wine very nice & the service was friendly...& unaffected. I would highly recommend going here if you are in the area.More

We tried here during our first trip to St Ives in 2022 and had a lovely meal so we rebooked again for our recent trip. Unfortunately it was really disappointing. The steak was seriously tough. Struggled to cut it never mind chew it. The mussels...in chorizo and cream were nice but no bowl provided for the empty shells. The other dishes our group had were just ok. Maybe it was a once off mishap, hope so. It's a quaint setting but unfortunately the food just wasn't up to scratch this time.More
