A nice little restaurant close to the harbour. We visited recently and enjoyed a very pleasant evening meal. I had duck pancakes to start and Thai green curry for a main, very tasty. My girlfriend had duck for a main, which she enjoyed. The deserts were equally good. Red wine was also very good. I think we'd like to visit... More

A very popular, friendly and very busy tea room. Excellent staff, good choice of local produce. Almost everything on the menu can be either adapted or is Gluten free. In particular the scones are superb. From what I understand it took sixteen attempts to get the recipe right. They taste like beautiful scones, that happen to be Gluten free. The... More

Great food - fish that couldn't have been better - with a really good choice of drinks and service that fully deserved the tip. The restaurant to visit if you only go to one in St Ives.

After a cold winters morning we ended up in the searoom. We had teacakes, cornish cream tea and they were delicious. Nice relaxed friendly staff and atmosphere. Just what we needed to recharge before some more exploring, thanks.

We go to Cornwall 1-2 times per year on holiday and one of the activities we always plan in is a trip here for lunch. The menu is great, with loads of fresh produce, and the cheddar, bacon, onion and tomato tart is to die for! They have a large selection of cakes, some gluten free, and the team there... More

The best time (I think) to visit Cornwall is in the winter when its cold and cosy and tourist season has well and truly died down (I grew up in Cornwall and grew to love winter). The Tearoom as been frequented by us on many occasion when we aimlessly wander around St Ives during the winter. We always wrap up... More

When you're wife is gluten free and your son is dairy free, finding places to indulge in a cream tea can be tricky. Never fear the Tearoom St Ive's will deliver. Not just scones but other sweat and savoury options too. Coffee is good here too, we're very spoilt at home by great coffee shops and often disappointed when traveling,... More
