We ate here three times during our stay. First we had take away and the second time breakfast eating in and finally a breakfast take away. The menu boldly stated theirs were ‘the best pizzas in St Ives’ and they weren’t exaggerating. They were absolutely delicious. We ordered the 3 pizza meal deal (3 pizzas, 2 garlic breads & 2 sides), there was so much we were able to have it for lunch the next day (2 adults, 2 children). Great value for money. When we ate breakfast in the restaurant itself, the service was excellent, the food delicious and it was, again, great value for money. Lastly, the bacon sandwiches we had for the journey home were humungous and absolutely perfect. Just what we needed for a 6 hour journey. 3 experiences, all different, all equally great. P.s. I just remembered that we also got our morning coffee from here a couple of times and were equally impressed with the service.

We went for breakfast with our dog. It’s small but tables are adequately spaced out. All breakfast items were good. Slightly strange waitress service as I asked for my fried eggs to be well cooked and her response is we are busy and you will get them as they are cooked. I think a little training needs to be given, it wasn’t an odd request and it was the only one for four breakfasts. Coffee was a bit bland. I think as St Ives gets busier now the first week of re-opening booking will be essential.

Soft sub filled with crispy salad and red onion, juicy fresh scampi and a lemon and chilli mayonnaise with a side of home made chunky chips, simply devine! Tables well spaced respecting COVID-19, staff friendly and welcoming, relaxing music and a warm Cocunut Chai Latte made for a perfect lunch on an overcast day in St Ives. Looking forward to returning in the morning for the Crab or Welsh Rarebit. A varied and tempting menu that, on first glasses, could seem a little pricey but well worth it given the food quality and variety. Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch.

Visited with my family whilst on holiday. We arrived just as the lunch menu was finishing, but none of my family wanted a big meal. We told our waitress this on arrival and they said it was fine. Placed our order and whilst waiting for our food continued to be starred at anytime a waitress walked past. Started to feel like i had two heads. Food came in a reasonable time and there was no issue with it. The wifi password didn't work so the kids were playing up a little bit, but nothing that unruly. Once we had finished our food I went to the toilet while my wife went to pay. When I met her outside the restaurant then came the sting. She told me how much it had come to, which I was a little bit surprised about. My wife explained that she was too, so had asked for clarity when paying. We had been charged £5.95 for 4 slices of toast! In total a lunch for 4 had come to almost £50 when my other son only had beans on toast as well. My wife would not let me go back in and unfortunately this still comes to mind when i think of our holiday to Cornwall.

Our first visit, on the last night of our holiday in St Ives. Food good (nachos/chicken/ceaser/pizza) and nice choice of drinks however I have given just a three star review as the service wasnt great. We booked table for 8pm and it became clear from 8.30 onwards that the staff were cleaning down and trying to close. I saw four different groups turned away as walk ins even though there were tables empty. The waitress asked us if we wanted desserts as soon our mains were cleared and when we said we didnt think so, she offered us our bill - it was only 8.45! When we said we might have more coffees in a while, the waitress then returned within 5 minutes asking us if we wanted the bill again. We would have liked more time to relax and enjoy drinks on our final evening of the holidays but instead we felt pressured to leave. So, 50 minutes after arriving we left..we hadnt even left the premises when the waitress was at our table spraying and wiping! What a shame..the closing time on the door said 9.30 but we definitely were encouraged to eat up and leave well before that. You missed out on more money from us this evening Scoff, and that of the four parties you also turned away!

Great coffee. Lovely setting. Really nice decor. Had the pancake with bacon and maple syrup - the bacon was raw and they served with golden syrup, couldn’t eat it. Plus I think they might have forgot about us, had to go to the front to pay which isn’t the best with the current climate !

Went in for a a take away coffee, was asked to sit and wait for service, which ended up taking 5 minutes. 15mins later when receiving our coffees we then had to prompt the waiter to be able to pay for them. Seems a bit of a defunct service?

The only table we could find available in St Ives - very clear why. Table had full view of kitchen which had the door open the entire time. Watched every meal and dish get microwaved. Chefs/microwavers had no masks or gloves on. They dished up the chips and salad with their hands. Didn’t see them wash hands once. We watched one use a surface cloth to wipe down his arms. Had two plates of pasta which were, microwaved, and cost £11 each. Aside from any COVID of health and safety concerns, it was also a bad meal covered in salt. Asked at the end how the food was, and said not great, that we watched it be microwaved and we’re met by a shrug. When paying, we said we thought it was overpriced, she became defensive and angry. She sarcastically shouted thank you as we walked out of the door. Just awful - get chips on the beach instead. To be clear, we love Wetherspoons and McDonald’s - no snobbery here.

As soon as my family walked in we where greeted by the most friendliest staff, they didn’t pressure us ordering, we where a group of 6 so there is always a lot of debating where there is so many good choice to pick from. All the food come out piping hot and all fresh produce. I already cannot wait to return and try something different on the menu. Also it was so nice to go to considering so many places are shut in January and it was cold outside, we walked in to a lovely warm cafe

We booked ahead and followed all guidance. I took my 9yr old son there, it was our first visit. We visited on 20/07/20 for an evening meal, and were reassured from the start by all the measures in place. Service and communication was faultless from booking to paying, friendly, prompt and reassuring. We ordered salt croquettes and halloumi fries for starters, then spaghetti with meatballs, an ‘Italian’ pizza and Parmesan and rocket salad- all completely delicious and my son made short work of the very generous portion of meatballs. Absolutely lovely meal, and a highlight of our holiday- would recommend 100% and it’ll certainly be the first place I book next time we’re in the area.

Came here for lunch whilst on holiday, partner wanted the peanut vegan curry with an IPA and I ordered the bbq tofu, avocado and jalapeño sandwich along with an elderflower lemonade. The staff let us know they were out of stock of the peanut curry and the elderflower lemonade so my partner asked for the same as me and I requested a diet coke. This didn’t bother us as we are aware things do run out and it was 2pm just after the lunch time rush. Once receiving the sandwich it came with plain crisps when on the menu it mentioned chips would be served with it. The sandwich also was missing the bbq sauce, a main component as of why we ordered the sandwich and a disappointment when eating it. Thankfully the food was still really good and if it weren’t for those reasons they would be getting 5/5.

We visited the Scoff Troff in February for breakfast one morning and it didn't disappoint! They had a good range of options on the breakfast menu, and plenty of drinks choices too. They don't offer any swaps or changes to any meals (very understandable for a small cafe), but you can add extra items which was great. Our food arrived quickly and tasted fab.

The service here is so friendly, quick and attentive. Had no faults, they adapted a meat dish for my veg dietary needs and removed the pesto due to an allergy. Gnocchi is so delicious. Its a lovely quiet and chilled out place with good music. Will return for a cake, thanks to Harriet who is doing an amazing job. Also Brook and Molly. Hope I got the names right!

We queued and greeted at the door asked for our details which was a good sign. But not told to sanitise our hands like you normally get reminded in other places so thankfully i had my own sanitiser to do that when i got to my table. Customers sneezing on their hands without sanitise and entering the place put my husband and i off eating there from the start especially when we were put quite close to other tables. The staff need to know what social distancing is. Pleasant enough waiter but served food far to close to us than in other places we ate. And we happen to notice no gloves used when handling food! So even though we enjoyed our cream teas we wouldn't come back. Staff could do with some knowledge on what they are serving customers with too like what brand Of jam you use on a scone. Not a difficult wuestion in my opinion! we would never come back here again just due to the lack of covid Precautions!

We are a family of 9 and we were told that we had to split up due to Covid-19. They were very accommodating in trying to give us two tables nearby. We were initially split up and then a table came clear and they were happy for our group to move. All with big smiles. We then had Aaron serve our table and he was brilliant on describing the menu and accommodating our numerous requests. Food was lovely with an extensive menu for everyone’s tastes. We’re trying to figure out when we can go back before we have to leave Cornwall! Definitely a must to experience.
