Had a wonderful birthday dinner here in early January -not that it was recognised in anyway by the staff..despite knowing it was a special occasion. Only criticism was that our main courses were not in anyway hot -reflected by the fact that the plates were...More

Were this review for the food only, it would be one star. The setting, attentive Service, and general Bon homie salvaged an otherwise desultory experience. Had we not been reacquainting with old friends over lunch, we would have sent the food back. As it was,...More

Thanks for your feedback which i am shocked reading, its not the experience we aim to give at the restaurant at all. We do get things wrong from time to time but I've never read anything like this about our restaurant before. I would like...More

Food was OK. Only. If it was half the price we expected much, much more for the money. This restaurant isn't worth the money. Avoid! The espresso was under extracted, no crema and flat tasting. Staff pleasant enough, no complaints in this area.

top class food and service in this traditional restaurant close to the centre of Dartmouth. If you love fish and seafood you’ll love this place. Pricey but worth it.

Good in parts!! I was taken by friends who eat there regularly but it was not quite up to scratch. Considering there were only three tables service was beyond relaxed into slow but very attentive and pleasant. The little nibbles to start were superb as...More

Called in for a ‘locals lunch’ (sadly we’re not) - and what a delight it was. We have eaten here before a few times before and it’s always excellent, so this was an especially lovely way to spend a couple of hours on the last...More

The Cantina provided the perfect setting for a wonderfully personalised dinner party with my friends and family. The stunning table, the low key lighting and the impressive wall of wine managed to capture a cosy mood of intimacy very often inaccessible with larger groups of...More

I wouldn't have thought this is a beer restaurant: the cuisine demands a good wine!
