A few menu changes , don't like the new "scampi", but apart from that still very good. Staff super friendly, like you can book now , usual generous portions and plenty of chips!

We visited Rockfish in Dartmouth last time in 2014, we had been looking forward to a return visit and seeing the menu couldn't wait to try something different. I went for the monkfish scampi and my wife had the fish pie. Even though it was very tasty, I do feel £14.95 was far too expensive for what was served up.... More

Had lunch with 6 others between Christmas and the new year. The food was fantastic. We were served by Joanie and her humour and friendly nature, combined with the delicious food made our dining experience top notch. Can't wait until the Exeter Rockfish opens. In the meantime we will have to try the Exmouth restaurant. Thank you

Enjoyed another lovely meal at the Rockfish. Sampled Gurnard for the first time after a fellow diner recommended it. Beautifully cooked and presented, just a few too many chips, very nice all round.

We have been here a few times for something and chips to eat on the front. This time we had Sausage in Batter with Chips (made fresh to order) with a side of Jalapeno Tartare sauce (Yummy & Spicy) as always the chips were great and it was nice to have a decent sausage and not the usual cheap ones.

We visited at the time of the Christmas market so everywhere was busy. We were told a table would be available around 9pm so we went to have a drink in one of the many pubs and got a text to tell us that a table was free - a nice touch. Details of the available fish is written on... More

This is just what you want from a fish restaurant in a seaside town. Nice menu offering lots of choice for everyone who likes fish and a burger for those who don't. In my experience their frito misto is better than the Italians do it. Also three choices of daily catch were offered. Nice family atmosphere and good staff.

Great place to eat. Relaxed dining room, a superb selection of starters (we had the scallops - absolutely beautiful, the cockles, calamari and prawns) and generally went for grilled or fried fish and chips with mushy peas. All, including the pollock and cod, were absolutely delicious and the tartare sauce was fab. We all loved it and would happily return... More

Came here cause my girlfriend wanted oysters... which she got but wasn't entirely sure cause they were drowned in ginger and soy sauce. Probably to disguise the fact they weren't fresh! The crab, however, provided plenty of entertainment for the kids, who were able to bounce the meat around the room like a rubber ball... fresh? I think not The... More

After a wonderful visit to Coleton Fishacre on the Kingswear side in the morning we took the Lower Ferry across to a very busy Dartmouth for lunch at Rockfish as it catered for a Coeliac in our group. Loads of choice & the food was great including unlimited chips! Staff were very attentive & atmosphere was great. Nic to see... More
