Stumbled upon this restaurant as the local pubs had all stopped cooking by the time we decided to eat and what a lucky discovery it was... The pumpkin soup was delicious and the Fasolka to die for... Very attentive owner Aga who made us both welcome...A fabulous end to a tiring day...can't wait to return

Two of us were on a sailing trip in July 2016 (apologies for the delay in submitting this review) and chanced upon the Anzac Street Bistro when trying to find somewhere to eat - and what a find! Small and intimate with great food (the venison was excellent), a good wine list and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very likely to... More

We had a good meal here - I had a vegetarian Thai green curry which was very tasty. The restaurant had a relaxed and warm atmosphere, with a young woman playing songs with a guitar but not being obtrusive. Friendly and helpful waitress. Good value for money.

This small bistro will not give you fast food, it will give you beautiful food full of flavour and although the choice is smaller what comes to your table is absolutely delicious. Vodka cocktails to start with a choice of locally sourced English wine . Really friendly staff and I wish I lived near as I would be in there... More

We have just got back from a wonderful week in Dartmouth where there are numerous places to eat. Following a lovely meal at Anzac Street Bistro, we decided to return for our final night and we were not disappointed. The food is wonderful and the ambience perfect. The owners are very attentive and friendly. Loved it.

We stayed with Simon and Aga for seven nights in central Dartmouth (excellent location!) in September 2016. They gave us a very warm, friendly welcome, lovely room, excellent service, wonderful food. Simon gave us advice on other places to visit, eat and enjoy to make our stay in Devon perfect. Many thanks, would highly recommend the Bistro and accomodation to... More
