Alf Resco is one of my all time favourite breakfast/lunch places. Not sure whether it's open for dinner. Dartmouth is in itself simply stunning. The cafe is unique and quirky in design - an old building, possibly a boat house? It has covered outdoor seating where rugs and sheepskins are provided in winter. It has a real vibrant energy... is... More

Very popular, especially weekends. Specialising in breakfast, this is a cool, fab place to eat. Proper sausages made locally and lovely bacon. Slightly more expensive than other places but well worth it.

Visited with some friends after walking along the Coastal Path. Took a light lunch of Sharpham cheese on toast which was very good accompanied by a good cup of coffee and a cool jazz vibe. Sat outdoors warmed by the space heaters and generous throws and rugs and the cheery demeanour of the staff.

Back yet again.... Another great breakfast without mushroom for anything else on the plate. Quality Quooking and Quaint. A Dartmouth must do!! Field Marshall Montgomery would have approved to the full !! Closes at 1400.

My wife and I dropped by for coffee on a Sunday and there was a queue....when other places in the town were empty...that tells you how popular it is! Coffee was very good and the ambience is great. Staff are very friendly and try to fit you in if they can. Will be going back next time we visit Dartmouth.

Popped in for a spot of lunch and had 2 toasties and a jacket potato. My husband and daughter were very disappointed with their toasties as for aa £7.50 each they had a piece of toast with cheese and ham and bacon and brie. Very expensive for what it was.

Came here for a weekday lunch with a friend. The food was served quickly and there was a very generous helping! It was maybe a pound or two too expensive but worth it for the quality and amount of food you get. We would definitely eat here again.

Enjoyed a family breakfast here during half term. Food top notch as before the added bonus this time was the pumpkin carving activities available at the front of the cafe. The children loved it...not just carving, but sticky eyes and pipe cleaners for hair...great idea guys. Also, really loved he warm winter smoothie I tried.
