Harry’s is a firm family favourite for celebrating special occasions. The brilliant service, quality of food and atmosphere is consistently brilliant. It’s more like visiting friends than a restaurant. There’s a wide choice of food and drinks- especially cocktails which is my favourite range. Highly...recommended- book in advance! The atmosphere is always buzzing and warm. We enjoyed the calamari- one of the best we’ve had as is a go- to starter and the mackerel pate. We then had chateaubriand which was cooked perfectly and the Chicken Milanese. The cookie skillet is great to share and the chocolate brownie is new but delicious. Highly recommended!More

We celebrated our daughter's 21st birthday here and it was absolutely wonderful. The team at Harry's could not have been more helpful fielding balloons, birthday cakes and sparklers like the true professionals they are. The food was delicious, service impeccable and friendly. The food here was such good quality. The menu has lots of options (including drinks) and the prices are pretty reasonable. The atmosphere is great - perfect place to go for a special occasion. We arrived with no reservation but they were able to accommodate us with a lovely table! Our server provided us with wonderful suggestions! The Fillet of Beef Tartare was a great starter!! The free range roast chicken Caesar salad was a very healthy portion of...deliciousness and the crab linguine was yummy!More

Harry's is an amazing restaurant. Great food and superb service. The staff are friendly and went to great lengths to ensure we had a lovely evening. Really lovely meal. Had carpaccio to start which was light and lovely. Took the risk (rarely good) and ordered a steak, went for a ribeye which was nicely cooked with nice simple side of chips/tomato. Wine was good and service lovely. I wish Tripadvisor would...change the scoring to out of 10 or 100 as 4 stars might seem like a negative, it’s not, great meal…will be back…probably next week.More

We loved everything about Harry’s. We were late for our reservation (travel delay) but the restaurant sat us in wonderful corner booth. Very attentive service, wonderful steaks, drinks, dessert. The atmosphere — lighting, comfort, ability to carry on a conversation — was top notch. And...we could see many happy diners, engaged in lively conversations around us. We will happily return to Harry’s the next time we are in Exeter.More

Visited Harry's Bar after reading so many excellent reviews and was not disappointed. The staff were exceptional - friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. Faultless - would definitely recommend.

Great service and food with a lovely setting. Nothing was too much trouble and we both left feeling like we like this was going to be our forever restaurant for special occasions.

Every time I have visited the food, and service have been second to none. The food in particular is outstanding, and far superior to anywhere else in the city.
